QUOTE(ragecat @ Mar 13 2016, 05:18 AM) Question Is their coverage better than other telco by 100%? So they charge 100% higher than other telco?Btw i am both maxis and celcom users, no different in coverage. Sometime indoor celcom got signal, maxis no signal. Mainly in klang valley. QUOTE(nexona88 @ Apr 3 2016, 11:11 PM) search her on google. this situation only can be solved by introduce the 'secret counter offer' to the public.looks like she is the Head of Marketing Services at Maxis. situation must be very tense / bad at Maxis now I already enjoy the 'secret offer' for 2 months. QUOTE(kenshin9880 @ Apr 4 2016, 12:19 AM) http://www.soyacincau.com/2016/03/11/maxis...calls-sms-rm68/ this is just one of the issue.I think this is the issue.... Only for sabah and sarawak..... TAT not for Semenanjung malaysia............ another issue is that they treat their loyal customers like water fish. Offering secret offer for those who want to port out and giving excuses such as 'only selected customers get this offer' and etc. |

QUOTE(Valhala @ Apr 5 2016, 08:51 PM) Just a my two cents since this has gone all heaty. oi maxis, dont create so many account to post here thanks!First, price war. Not all companies are able to join the price war cuz they actually set the benchmark for being the most expensive. A few years back, Maxis flaunted out a prepaid plan called Hotlink Bagus offering the cheapest prepaid in the market. In less than two weeks, Digi called their new plan Digi 'Lagi Best' being few cents cheaper than the so called Bagus. Therefore, it probably became a strategy to stick to Service & Quality Network, expanding Fibre and Zerolution services. I'm a Maxis user, so prolly a lil Pro-Maxis here. But just opinions. Maxis started One Plan, was successful until everyone else picked up the concept of giving unlimited calls and started price war. No doubt, Maxis wasn't quick enough to counter that, they started thinking sideways by offering One Roam and Zerolution. There's prolly a few factors I put into consideration why they did not counter back that 1. They have a HQ in the centre of KL owning over 20 floors called Menara Maxis. Maintenance costs, Management costs hiring a new CEO back in 2014? from Vodafone prolly having top notch salaries and etc. 2. No matter how much they lower their prices, Digi or Umobile would prolly pick up the fight and eventually when no one else makes money, they wrap up like TIME and JARING. So much for consumer fun comparing prices now. No doubt they're lots of ignorant users these days. Some like me are willing to spend a lil more for certain services that only Maxis offers, only because cases like my company pays my bills. Multisim that allows data sharing and i slot an extra sim in my ipad to utilize the 5gb that i can never use up on my cheap handphone Call centres that can handle bill disputes unlike celcom which outsources their call centre. You prolly have to walk in should you require a dispute. But i must admit, it was some backfired plan to offer EM rockbottom price compared to WM. Maxis has always been a semenanjung brand and prolly wanted to win over EM. The EM one plan has been ongoing since 2014 (used it since then) and the difference was RM 30. I was surprised to find it having a gap of RM90 now. And another stupid idea to offer it as a retention deal. Wouldn't have caused this much trouble if they had maintained their 10~20% higher than OLO strategy all this while with a lil better service and network. But well prolly that so called 10~20% extra wouldn't be sufficient to cover up for their expenses and profit either you wasted 30 minutes to write this shit! if you wan ur customers back, just offer good plan to the public. QUOTE(piGiE @ Apr 6 2016, 06:43 PM) Dilemma on paying penalty not? Nice, they even send automated sms to those who port out. So loyal department no need waste time to call. In the end, customer have to waste their precious time to go maxis center to ask what is the offer.I started using hotlink prepaid package with my very first SonyEricsson T28 Phone during college time 16 17 years ago. I'm one of the so called loyal customer indeed. After the recent incident i started to review my package and compare with all other telcos offers, then I knew i was fuxk up. Called up and Live chat with Maxis support, tried to understand the penalty calculation formula for my contract termination as below: Package: MaxisOne Plan 128 (2 years contract) Subscription Date: February 2016, 22 months to end contract iPhone 6S 128GB Contract Price: RM 3265.00 (Retail Price: 4339.00) Early Termination Penalty: [(Retail Price - Contract Price) / 24 x Outstanding committed months] + Admin Fees : [(RM4339.00 - RM3265.00) / 24 x 22] + RM100.00 : RM984.50 + RM100.00 : RM 1084.50 YES, I need to folk out RM 1084.50 to untie my contract. After 5 mins of consideration, I decided to port out with follow conclusions: 1. I can take it as purchased my iPhone via Apple retail shop. 2. I save RM50.00 / Month (With Digi Postpaid 75) from now onward, 22 months means RM1100.00, break even with earlier termination penalty 3. I can enjoy 7GB data per month from now, 2 GB rollover. (Maxis offered 3GB only) Conclusion: I lose nothing eventually. Walked in Yellow Man outlet evening to port out from Maxis. When I submitted my MNP request, on the spot I received offer from Maxis really pushing my rage to the limits. Errr.... This is the definition of loyal customer in Maxis dictionary. Haiz, there you go 16 years marriage life. Bye Maxis, Hi Yellow Chick. |
