How come all of you gets RM68 promo?

I ported before CNY and they called me the same day offering RM78+5gb+unlimited calls & sms + contract. thinking that it's a good deal I agreed

now i'm not that happy with maxis.. why not standardize the offer to everyone who port out? CS said there's are certain criteria that needs to be met to get cheaper price. doesnt make sense at all, if i'm calling lesser than B and yet i get 78 B gets 68 coz both new package calls are free already. makes no difference in the bill

can we report to skmm that maxis refused to listen to customer requests?

then how come U Mobile, Digi and Celcom able to provide reasonable plan for us while Maxis still stuck there, and some even selective in giving good offer?

it's their business decision lo. we cannot say why meizu, xiaomi, huawei providing high end phones at reasonable price yet samsung and iphone so expensive despite having almost similar specs. similarly the analogy some1 used in companies, you cannot argue why your boss decide to offer a better deal for your colleague to stay yet not to you. it's their decision.

maxis probably targeting different group of users. probably high end users + east malaysia since the other telco busy fighting for moderate users.

well, I just hope that they are constantly fight to offer we, users a better plan for our usage.

I wont scold, I will just feedback them that they need to improve their services and price according to the destination.. Some destination price can't be lowered as some airport that they were land charge exorbitantly on them, so they have no choice but to put high price.
In the case of Maxis, I dont see any real effort on giving users a better plan.

I have no choice bro. Digi and Celcom are suck in my working and staying place. If not, I already changed to Celcom earlier.

Been with maxis for more than 10 years, from prepaid to postpaid to one plan 128. Been thinking to port out since U mobile start the war with HERO plan RM70 get 7GB.
But worried about Umobile coverage so I hold it, then Digi and Celcom join the war with their own plan, giving unlimited calls and more data with cheaper price. Then stumble upon this thread, really cant brain why maxis treating their customer like this   so i decided to port out.

I cancel my contract last Thursday via maxis chat and when they ask why want to cancel, i said i want to port out. And purposely wait till yesterday to see if anyone from maxis will call and offer me new package. Not that i wanted the new package but just want to see how their reaction when a customer cancel their contract and mentioned of porting out.

So yesterday since no one from maxis call me, i decided to port in to Celcom and took their RM80 gold plan, and this morning someone from maxis call me to offer new package. First he offer me RM68 and will get 5GB unlimited call but i rejected. Then he said can give me more data, so he offer me RM88 8GB unlimited call, also I rejected it. He ask why? I said i get better offer from Celcom with RM80 gold plan. Then he start condemn Celcom saying even thou Celcom give more data but their 4G speed is slower than maxis blablabla, I just stop him and said I already frustrated with maxis and already decided to port out,so no thanks.

So I hope if anyone intend to port out and get a counter offer from maxis, just reject it. This is to teach maxis a lesson so they will realize that we customer are not stupid and we can make our choice if we are not happy with them.

they offer no contract and i asked again to confirm, they insist no contract.

i had ported out from maxis and today i receive billing via email and maxis still haven't terminate my account and still debit me. well guys better double check again with maxis to ensure them remove your credit card number.

Made complaint to SKMM and CFM. Managed to get RM88 for 7GB + 1GB with free spotify premium. However, my plan was RM158 with iphone plan. Thus need to pay penalty of RM950. The only thing I felt cheated and not arguable is my previous plan was RM158 and now my plan stated clearly RM188. So basically its an upgrade, why should I pay for the penalty? To Maxis, it is an offer for monthly rebate after I lodged complaint in skmm & cfm about unfair practice on all the plans. The contract did not state if an upgrade with offer which requires me to pay penalty. If my area not cos of Maxis line is better, definitely already port the fack out from them.

On another note, my gf did not get the same package but she use Maxis since 2000 and prompt payment. Instead of RM68 for 5gb or RM88 for 7gb. She got 98 for 6gb and RM118 for 7gb.

Straight port out to digi. Sometimes we have to be smart consumer not to be con by all these shits. If in a same area, maxis & digi or even celcom line is acceptable. I think not necessary to take maxis. Especially this is how they treat customer.

And Many say "I would back to Maxis if they offer something similiar or lower" few weeks back but now I think majority customer are so frustrated on how they treat their long time customers.

Sucks. That's why I ported to UMobile.

Let me tell a story of since I'm using UMobile:

When I want to port out from Maxis but before port out i requested for more data with no extra charge? And I'm a 10yrs plus customers (loyal). But "NO" is "NO". But this post in Low Yat the customer since to get the offer of RM68 with 7GB plus Unlimited calls after few rejections. But why I cannot? 10yrs using Maxis is nothing?

So then I ported out and change to UMobile. RM70 with 7GB data and Unlimited calls. So I've been using it for not even a year then UMobile launched a new package of RM70 but with more data 15GB and Unlimited calls. Good thing is mine is upgraded too without any additional charges.

Can Maxis do that? Upgrade charge.. This charge that charge...

They will have to offer something cheaper and better, because Maxis also know currently their plans are the most expensive compared to other telcos (Digi, Celcom, etc) and that is most probably the reason ppl are porting out. If they offer something more expensive, wouldnt it be even more tempting to port out?

Taking Digi for example, their current offer is RM78 for 7GB with unlimited calls and SMS (More Calls Plan) or their RM98 Plan for 10GB internet (More Internet Plan) which is a much better offer than Maxis is "officially" offering? (Of course not taking into account line stability and coverage in this sense)
