So if we want to check whether the engine oil/ parts have been changed, to avoid incident like Honda, we have to open it up ourselves to check?
*
tbh this can happen anywhere, not just Honda. Unscrupulous people are everywhere.

I normally pull the dipstick to double check the oil levels after service and it's pretty obvious if the oil has been changed.

At my place, my car only change part in front of me, just between 1 mirror so I can observed at there if really wanted to. 1 service center allows me to get beside my car when service ( but I guess for safety purposed, normally that's a NO for it. )

And actually very hard to check whether the engine oil is being replaced or not, except you are well experience with the engine oil, and by touching it, you can feel the thickness of the oil.

So I think if you can see your car when they service, is good enough.

Hmmm....Coz i think not everywhere/ every time you can see your car when they service, and sometimes i do not stay in the SC to wait for it to be done.

It's the program. When you drive aggressively, the gearbox will hold the lower gear for a while longer after you lift so that you have immediate power when you put your foot down again.

You might also have noticed the car doesn't shift up as eagerly when you're in the middle of a turn. This is to avoid upsetting the balance of the car through the turn.

This is more convincing.. hmm.gif hmm.gif

So, the answer is very simple, this is normal in Skyactive base on all these feedback. thumbup.gif thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

The service adviser at Taman Equine did this when hand back the car to me.
I replaced my bump stopper (to eliminate the kruk kruk noise), and performed 10k service there.

Unused oil is return and he even repeats what tasks had been performed. thumbup.gif

Disagree with your statement.
Skyactiv Drive

This gearbox is somehow different with the conventional torque converter gearbox.

hahaha.. to be honest, I personally think the gearbox is awesome.
Skyactiv comes in as a package to offer you a better driving experience. So, every part has its own contribution to make it a good ride. Hope bro you don't feel offended ya, just sharing the info I previously did before I committed to this car.. Cheers~

Oh, feeling so offended tim..hahahaha... icon_idea.gif
actually my question is I "complaint" this "lagging", they say normal but still reset my engine.. rclxub.gif either they are not confident on what they said or just want to make me happy. (In fact, I think they do not reset since all info data still there).. whistling.gif whistling.gif

Couldn't guarantee you Equine is the good SC.

It's based on what you experienced. Some say XXX sc is bad, but some not. Depends on which experience you encounter..

To me, normal servicing I don't mind go these branches or dealer to service. Just make sure they did their job.
For parts replacement, if the small one cannot fulfill your request, then only go the big one, Glenmarie HQ.

Then just service there ba. Glenmarie SC provides foods and beverage to the customers. rclxms.gif rclxms.gif
Got nasi lemak, sandwiches. I went there once for paint complaint, I was still at counter and my parents already took some hot drinks for me. hahaha..

Then they redirected me to the bodyworks and repair centre. Same as the HQ, foods and beverages provided. Had my breakfast there as well.. thumbup.gif

If normal servicing, any SC will do their job.
When comes to parts replacement, no guarantee which SC is best. Even some will complaint HQ as well.. hahaha..

Old Klang Road, if not mistaken, MissHanz serviced her car there. Wait for her comments.
Me myself, 1k service at Sg. Besi. Made appointment 2 weeks in advance. Everything goes smooth.
I went there due to they offer Full Sync EO 5w-30. End up didn't take the full sync as you need to topup 230++.

2nd service at Equine. I will back to there for my next service as the experience with them is thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

Be warn that there are 2 full sync EO provided by SC, the cheaper 1, topup 150+- (cant remember is 10-40 or 5-40 grade), the other option is as above.

The main one is to the left of the showroom when viewed from the road. Separate entrance if not mistaken. Only been there once.

There is a 2nd service building along the same road next to the Hyundai stock warehouse. This is the body and paint centre. They do normal service as well.

New engine oil is golden brown colour. Old oil is blackish (they don't call it black oil for nothing). Should be easy to check by pulling up the dipstick.
