Sooner better, as rumoured price increase coming (but comes with bodykit / aerokit). PM me your contact so I can share with you the current promo.
*
Can you PM me the current promo on the Mazda 3 hatchback please? Does the rumoured upcoming price increase apply to all variants?

Are you sure you want the hatchback? It's like paying the price for the HS but getting the GL specs for the hatchback.
*
It's one of those emotional factors. The HB is kinda in between GL and HS so the premium over getting HS is not so bad.

My car is not even one month old yet and I've already pumped 4 times mileage is at 1600km.
*
How are your pump habits like? Wait til empty and pump til full tank?

Nice, looks alot better. I'm guessing every tune is different depends what you tell him. I just asked him for mine. Interested how other tuners are doing it too. As for mine, as far I can see, hardly effect FC.
*
Seems you're running a richer air-fuel ratio after 4.5k to gain the extra power.

on average clocking 500km per tank is not hard for m3 even your speed vary from 100km above. For my ride, i can clock easily 600km on single tank with 60% highway with speed averaging from 90-150km. tongue.gif . if 70%-80% highway 700km is not a problem too.
[attachmentid=6121386]
mix driving and speed condition (but 70% on highway)
*
Km/tank is a bad way to compare mileage since different models have different tank capacity. Try calculating km/l when you pump.

QUOTE(derravile @ Mar 6 2016, 01:47 PM)
great FC, mine avg out at 8.5l/100km
thats L/100km
*
Depends on your preference. You want to know how many litres you need to go a hundred km. I want how many km I can eke out per litre. Either way works. Just not per tank.

QUOTE(amduser @ Mar 6 2016, 01:51 PM)
Average consumption at 5.9L/100km is very good for a 2000cc car already

Mine just average at 8.5L, have to control my right foot not to rev too much biggrin.gif
*
Yes 5.9l/100km is good. Try verifying it with a manual calculation when you pump. More accurate than the trip computer. And don't baby your cars too much. Common belief is that the carbon buildup in direct injected engines is made worse when the engines don't run hot enough.

QUOTE(kluseng @ Mar 6 2016, 06:26 PM)
The trip computer average is quite accurate. I've tested manually and the difference is only 0.2 L/100km if I go back to the same petrol station but not the same pump. If I go to a different petrol station the difference is 0.5 L/100km. Different cut-off point when pumping full may affect the average.
*
Nice good to know.

Waiting for my loan to get processed now. Didn't manage to book with Lucifal cos of location but he was very helpful in dealing with my queries.

m3 already increased since begining of march with bodykit

i doubt increase 5k will get i-eloop

m2 is still in cbu, maybe ckd that time will get 5-10k price drop with xenon and LED DRL laugh.gif
*
Mazda 3 was still showing the CKD launch price when I went in early March. The price on the website hasn't changed as well.

Mazda 2 is already an ASEAN car, so I doubt there will be a CKD version.

that time lucifal told me the new batch of m3 will have price increased and come with bodykit, i think the new price only applicable to the new m3 that come on march 2016 onward and the left over m3 from their inventory still the same price i guess hmm.gif
*
I guess so. But doubt they will have a price hike until end of March. They have a series of carnivals on-going and will end with a roadshow at 1Utama end of the month. Doing a hike in the middle of this would cause confusion amongst buyers.

lol....can already see the marketing strategy here brows.gif

it seems like mazda not really hard sell their cars like T and H, especially the rebate from T is crazy with those freebies

let's see what they got to offer at the 1u roadshow end of this month tongue.gif
*
Eh? I thought you're already driving a 3. Looking for a 2nd car?

Lol...no la, sometimes when I'm free I will go to those roadshow and test those SA and see how they promote the product

I can't afford another car already la, my 3 already took most of my savings d laugh.gif
*
Haha I don't know why you'd want to do that but have fun.

You've also just missed Renault's, also at 1U. Subaru's starts 23rd March and the following week is Mazda 30th March.

Having the same issue as well, and also when you depress the brake pedal do you feel that the brake pedal is not smooth?
I went to 1u last week and just at the right time I saw the Renault roadshow, their price is surprisingly cheap shocking.gif but the design is a bit weird though
*
Your brake issue happens only early morning / after rain and parked some time or does it happen all the time.

The RS are mouth watering. Too bad their sales wasn't interested in selling me a Clio RS last year. End up with a more sensible mzd3.

happens all the time as long as the car engine is on

i not really fancy with conti, dont like their design and i prefer japanese design more

Check for rubbish on the pads?

If they're clean, better get it checked out. Since you're getting uneven braking, could be the brake pump.

quite a number of owner in the m3 Skyactiv group already kena, they say SC will change it for free if your car is still under warranty
*
Any idea what they replace?

QUOTE(amduser @ Mar 15 2016, 08:15 AM)
tonight will crawl under and take a look, but it doesn't seems to affect the braking performance though
*
Hehe no need to crawl under. Just shine a torch or remove the tyres. BTW if it still happens when you press the brake while stationary then it's not junk already. I thought you mentioned braking was not smooth?

Is it possible to set the driver's side request button to only unlock the driver's door?

Tried the instruction in the manual and it didn't work.

Which method did you try? Manuals that I found cater to non-msian models.
*
Then unlock driver's door and hold the unlock button on the key fob method. It's in our manual as well.

I guess will ask them to help when I go in for 1st service.

edit: Oh wait you're right. Not in our manual.

Can't because our version dont have door lock switch:
The switch is like this: user posted image

Ahh ok. I thought it meant the unlock button on the key fob. Didn't think about the one on the door console.

QUOTE(amduser @ Mar 21 2016, 10:09 AM)
ic....will try the brake pedal on some other car with ABS see if it is the same, my previous car dont have ABS tongue.gif
i can live without auto lock and side mirror auto fold

but without central lock switch feel like i'm driving an old car laugh.gif
*
Does that pedal sound you mentioned previously happen while braking on a clean smooth road as well?

BTW, regarding your auto high beam control, try covering the sensor with a thick dark cloth while parked instead of driving fast and fiddling with the switches. Safer to test that way.

Passat is RM116,000 with OTR at abt RM120,000. Selling fast though...the VW showrooms were packed. According to the salesperson, there's about 1000 units nationwide and since the promo started last week, 600 units have been taken up.
*
If I recall correctly, the VW promotion is to clear old stock. Some of the cars are from 2014.

For Mazda, you can talk to lucifal. Great guy.

no problem with braking power, it is very consistent, only the brake pedal press and depress that time doesn't feel smooth, yes i tested them on smooth road
i'm okay with m3 interior since i'm moving from a smaller car (1st gen vios facelift), maybe the rear passenger search is a bit cramp, my seating position is usually closer to steering, so if the passenger is not overweight then he/she should have no problem fitting in rear passenger seat laugh.gif

what i dont like about m3 interior is the lack of compartment, the cup holder is not at a comfortable position for me to take my bottle while i'm driving

i sat on passat before, the sudden acceleration and DSG shifting speed is amazing, but after so many negative reviews for their gearbox failure, i can say it is a risk to get VW with DSG gearbox, if you wanna get a VW you might want to ask the SA to reserve a nice parking spot for you in SC there laugh.gif
*
Hmm for me, the pedal feels a bit soft initially but brakes firmly as I press further.

Yeah, agree with the lack of compartments. My arm can't get in a good angle to retrieve my smart tag and keys from the centre console box. Glovebox is nice and deep but also makes it hard for me to lean over and get stuff while on the move.

Well, saw a 3 with its' long snout shortened by a few inches in Cyberjaya. My guess is a Hilux tried to shoot for a gap crossing the road and got t-boned by the 3. Almost happened to me in the past.
