wind noise, dont reallly bother cause i m from saga/axia driver wink.gif
i wanted to install bodykits, afraid the front bumper changed might affect the overall driving experience. thanks  for sharing, have a clearer info now. last time never install any bodykit or spoiler .
even something like this will not affect the air flow ? [attachmentid=6827069]
*
no effect on stability la, how fast you can drive? at most 180km/h in malaysia road before you need to stop because of road hogger or reaching the end of the road

just dont install GT wing because it will increase drag and add extra weight

btw...those bodykit is not available in malaysia, you probably need to import it from somewhere else and pay the shipping fees + installation fees + respray fees (if color doesn't match)

The official discount for tint from bermaz not that great actually. I got a much better discount directly from my SA. For RX series if you use the bermaz 500 voucher, you still have to pay 3000++. I go through my SA the price is around 2500 only.

I would guess Eibach suits your needs (currently using too)
H&R drop is too low, Tein is more performance type
the rest is abit uncommon here

dayum. if drop off in highway, really terrible la!
what i worry is the bodykits will cause mess airflow since they only design it for beauty purpose instead of the real use of bodykits.
soon im getting the car, is there anything i need to do except the following
1. check the car properly before signing
2. do tint
3. thought  of wrapping the top
4. window visor ( not sure )
5. i wanna * black* the front mazda3 emblem
6. get a spoiler (saw lelong selling around rm200)
7. check on the current issue on kruk kruk or ngek ngek sound
*
dropped my front diffuser on highway, improper installation.....

Civic 1.8 OTR is RM 113,800. Considering the specs given, i think is matching the M3 GL in terms of value.

Despite of 1.8, but it comes with DRL, Remote Engine start, Walk Away Auto Lock, Smart Entry, Paddle Shift, Cruse Control, Full Color LCD Meter, Rear Aircond, 8 Ways Power seat, 520 Lit Boot, Apple/Android Mirror Link, Auto Brake Hold which not available in M3 GL.

I believe M3 handling still slightly better than New Civic, but new civic has much better space, comfort & better NVH.

Civic more for family, M3 more for zoom zoom single driver.. lol.

Lets the war begin! M3 GL vs 1.8, M3 HS vs 1.5 Turbo.. smile.gif

New Civic interior cheap like city? sure bo? I think u look at old model. lol. for me is premium with all soft touch even the rear door panel is soft touch with leather. door is solid & heavy. Way better than the old civic. Quality & interior is as premium as M3. Yes the turbo wont feel like VW turbo but definately more powerful than Mazda 3 especially city drive with 220nm from 1700-5500rpm.

Handling i can say Mazda 3 is slightly better and more solid. Civic rank 2nd among all japanese C segment. Civic handling and steering feel quite good also. no seaweed lar..

M3 better safety with SCBS, RVM, LDWS. Civic with remote engine start, rear aircond, LCD meter.

Offcourse Civic is quieter, better NVH, spacious interior & 520Lit boot space.

Comparison between 1.5 turbo vs 2.0 skyactive smile.gif

Both M3 & civic are equally good. The rest like slyphy, altis, cerato, elantra etc 2nd grade.

maybe he talking about the 1.8L variant? i heard the interior is different between 1.8L and 1.5L

seaweed got 10nm more torque, city drive should be more or less the same consider that m3 being lighter if i'm not mistaken

but with the help of turbo if really make high speed acceleration easier compare to NA

waiting for someone to do a drag test and handling test between this 2 cars then only will know, i wanna go for test drive but request for test drive need to book the time slot is it? cannot just walk in i guess~

yes 10nm diff but M3 max 210nm at 4000rpm , the turbo 1.5 220nm available from 1700 rpm all the way to 5500 rpm. Thats the diff of low end turbo torque vs NA engine. city drive usually 1500-2500rpm

Yes test drive available for walk in but have to queue unless no ppl

City drive, Civic 1.5T confirmed will be better than Mazda3, as the torque comes in earlier than Mazda3. But I dont see any pros and cons when you're in traffic jam (talking from the view point of KL, Klang Valley owner. I only know jam jam jam). Perhaps FC of Civic is better due to smaller displacement engine.

Ofcoz, acceleration wise, Civic wins all the way. Still, how often you fully utilize the torque? It feels good though, car feels like getting power constantly and any rpm range. Cruising, more or less the same, nobody will keep constantly keep the speed at over 150km/h all the way. (Tak takut speed cam ke? sweat.gif )
But talking of highspeed cruising (i mean over 150km/h) , i still think NA is better than forced induction, and also high displacement (2.0) VS small displacement (1.5). Not sure how the performance of CVT will contribute to this new Civic X.

NVH, as of what info and review get from few friends (includes M3 owner), yes, civic is better. 17" tyres, Conti MC5 vs 18" and Toyo performance tyre (you can foresee the noise is higher cry.gif ).

Most of us knows that Mazda3 is on downside when relates with noise insulation. A car is still a car, buy what you want, what you like.

berann, if not mistaken, I think you made a booking on Civic X right? Enjoy your ride and post some review in FnF. thumbup.gif

Turbo = more maintenance in future. But the torque at low rpm must be nice to drive.

Engine remote start works from max distance of 10m. Wonder how useful this is. hmm.gif
