Just test drive m3 ckd high spec, very impressive acceleration even though I didn't floor it, maybe I already used to my vios 1.5 slow acceleration
The radar cruise doesn't seems to work or need certain speed for it to work? I cruise at 60km/h and closing in behind a lorry but the car doesn't slow down Didn't get to test city brake and i-stop because the route doesn't have traffic light |

QUOTE(MissHanz @ Feb 20 2016, 11:09 PM) OH so that's what it is? I sorta had a feeling it was programmed that way to save fuel; sluggish acceleration at first and then sudden increase in acceleration. I always have a sudden burst of power whenever I tekan to overtake a car. Is that why I have to pump petrol every 380km? For me the car is not fuel efficient at all, one full tank definitely cannot reach Penang. My old Vios can go to Penang one tank no problem, coasting at 140-160km. Last pump on the 15th, yesterday 19th had to pump again. Is this unusual? I'm getting 8.8L/100km/h but it doesn't add up. I get about 200km for the first 3 bars, and then the remaining bars goes down really damn quick. By 380km the car range shows I have maybe 49km left, which usually means in real time I can go for another 20km before my pump petrol indicator lights up. i read up a lot of review from m3 drivers and their mileage per tank is definitely more than yours, i drive my 10 year old vios, full tank around 40L can to from KL to penang and 1 round around penang island before i need to fill up Maybe I need to lay off the kick down. Starting to miss my vios. Only had to pump once every one and a half week. Do let me know how to ECU remapping turns out. i can say the 10 year old vios ncp42 really win in term of fuel consumption, still able to compete with the new honda city with CVT and other korean made car on city drive i hope i can achieve the same or even better mileage with my m3 soon, already book the car yesterday, hopefully within next week i can get the load approval then can officially join you all here |

QUOTE(jesseblue @ Feb 24 2016, 08:01 PM) For those who got this car last year (eg. GL), may I know what was the pricings again? 96k is not on the road, on the road should be 109kI see from carlist for those with year 2015, it was around 96k. I read before that Mazda didn't increase the price this year (unlike Toyota and Honda) but why the current price is now 109k? if you use carlist make sure you sort the price from highest to lowest to see the accurate pricing |

wanna ask about the ECU remap, after tuning means the engine will burn more fuel at low RPM to produce more torque?
or the fuel consumption will still remain the same? this not logically possible i guess? |

QUOTE(wkc5657 @ Feb 26 2016, 11:54 AM) Not bad especially the power build up is about 500rpm earlier. Icic.... Because I still have a lot to learn when it coming to engine tuning like this, thanks for the infoDepends on the skill of the tuner. The aim is to optimise/balance between additional power with more/lesser fuel consumption. The best would be some power increase with lesser fuel consumption, that one have to adjust spark timing advance/retardation, valve timing, EGR rate and air-fuel ratio. Also depends on the requirement of the car owner, some people have no concern about fuel consumption and want nice peak figures. Some like the power/torque to arrive in the lower to mid range with some fuel consumption optimisation. Some purely want best fuel efficiency and not concerned too much about power curve. So the best situation is to engage a tuner who can tailor to your requirement and your car. As i said before, despite using the same set of mass produced PCM/ECU module, the machine learning part will make your car respond a little different from the other person's car. |

QUOTE(red4900 @ Feb 28 2016, 01:48 PM) So... should we wait till the blue signal goes away, the rev goes down from 2k to ~800, before we drive? Or we can just drive straight away after driving? Any long term effect of doing the latter, if there's any? just drive, but keep the rev under 3kThis post has been edited by amduser: Feb 28 2016, 02:00 PM |

QUOTE(incredibless @ Feb 28 2016, 03:56 PM) walk away lock functions when u turn off your engine, shut the door (your key be beside the car) , once you hear a beep sound you may walk away and the walk away lock will trigger the car to lock. ic....did a quick google search as well and it seems like the driver has to be the last one to close the door always if you walk away first without waiting your passenger to shut the door, it will not function. |

QUOTE(FlamingASSH0LE @ Mar 1 2016, 06:09 PM) Bodykit link removed in my opinion, the bodykit doesn't cost 2k, you can buy it outside and have the installation done at the buyer sideWill modification of bodykits by third party void any warranties btw? cant find a nice bodykit that can expose the dual exhaust, Storm bodykit is just overkill for me |

QUOTE(misnail @ Mar 2 2016, 07:33 PM) Dear sifus, what is the road condition that you are testing on? My car seems to move slightly towards the left when my hands are not on the steering while driving on the straight road. I raised this point to the SC when I sent my car for 1000km service and they said they have fixed it. Somehow 2 weeks later, my car still feels the same. Is it normal for a new car to have problem with balancing / alignment? Can I send it back to SC for them to check again? is it on every road the steering also lean to the left? worst case you can try on-wheel balancing, i dont think sc will do that for you and it cost more than normal balancing |
