QUOTE(olivechong @ Jun 11 2016, 10:09 AM) It is based on your budget la....But pay attention to the colour of the tint. Don't view it from a small cut out sample sheet but pull out a large piece from their roll on their workstation to determine (ask permission first though). After you spend a significant sum of $$$ yet got very very strong colour shift, you may regret. But this is my personal opinion and preference for neutral tint. I don't want my vision to be too off colour. Some have very strong blue/green tone. Another way is for you to actually see those cars in their workshop that is in process of applying the tint. Who knows, maybe a lower/cheaper version suits you better. |

QUOTE(olivechong @ Jun 11 2016, 09:52 AM) The cheaper FX for side windows is fine. More important is what they give for front windscreen between the 2 packages as this is where most of the heat comes in when you drive. This cannot be security film as it cannot be used on FWS. If both FX and MX use the top quality Ultra 70 for the front windscreen I would say go for FX. The TSER is the important parameter to watch out for. The higher the better the cooling. The UV rejection is usually good enough between all films not to wory about. Btw the Raytech package prices have no meaning without specifying what is used for front and rear windscreen. They cannot be security film as it will impair visibility at night. Raytech is very cagey on price. As another member said Raytech seems to have no fixed price at all unlike VKool. Hi Sifu-sifu sekalian,
booked my M3 HS white, shud be arrive next week (told by SA), am from kuantan anyway, wanna ask about the bodykit, bodykits by right is to fight the air flow at high speed? if we install those from China, will it create more wind noise ( since m3 already famous with the NVH)? or will it cause the body unstable at high speed since its not OEM. thinking to buy from taobao myself but heard forums say depends on luck on the quality. anyway, the air flow is the main concern for me as i m travelling alot in my job. |

QUOTE(eugenet88 @ Jun 11 2016, 10:47 PM) Hi Sifu-sifu sekalian, bodykit for our car doesn't help in improving airflow and increase downforce, those skirting doesn't really spoil the shape of the car so it is still okay to installbooked my M3 HS white, shud be arrive next week (told by SA), am from kuantan anyway, wanna ask about the bodykit, bodykits by right is to fight the air flow at high speed? if we install those from China, will it create more wind noise ( since m3 already famous with the NVH)? or will it cause the body unstable at high speed since its not OEM. thinking to buy from taobao myself but heard forums say depends on luck on the quality. anyway, the air flow is the main concern for me as i m travelling alot in my job. FYI, i've tried top speed of 170km/h at straight line and the car still stable, that is without any bodykit or spoiler even with bodykit there will be no difference the thing is, if the one who installed the bodykit didn't do a proper job to secure the bodykit to the car body it might drop off under high speed due to wind flow and vibration if you lowered the car then those skirting might be damaged when you going through bump or ram those bodykit you found on taobao is mostly PP material, is kind of a lightweight plastic if you worried about it then just go for the one without bodykit addon |

QUOTE(eugenet88 @ Jun 12 2016, 12:15 AM) dayum. if drop off in highway, really terrible la! so far there is no one complain about instability after install bodykit, a bodykit doesn't simply drop off unless you hit something or improper installationwhat i worry is the bodykits will cause mess airflow since they only design it for beauty purpose instead of the real use of bodykits. soon im getting the car, is there anything i need to do except the following 1. check the car properly before signing 2. do tint 3. thought of wrapping the top 4. window visor ( not sure ) 5. i wanna * black* the front mazda3 emblem 6. get a spoiler (saw lelong selling around rm200) 7. check on the current issue on kruk kruk or ngek ngek sound and those bodykit that you add is just skirting, it doesn't change the overall shape of the car thus it will not affect the airflow, the major contribution to the aerodynamic is the body shape design of the car, the airflow underneath the car and the turbulence when the airflow exit the car at the rear, this is why the spoiler and bodykit is just for cosmetic purpose only, unless you install front aerofoil, rear diffuser and an oversize GT wing also for our daily driving speed, those things give neither more fuel consumption or better stability, at most is just 2-3kg extra weight or less but of couse it is up to you whether you want to get a bodykit or not if you install window visor it might cause wind noise when driving above certain speed depends on the design of the visor, for mine the wind noise is noticeable after 100km/h, without music it is noticeable at 80km/h |
