thanks

if u change to 17" rims, i am using tht size

QUOTE(Gigabitz @ Feb 17 2016, 11:23 PM)
Guys,

I so miss my M3..!

I didn't drive my M3 since 6th Feb T.T

One of the tires has punctured and I find it hard to replace one. I have been calling many suppliers and workshop, all of them very hard to get replacement.

Just like most of you all, I am using original size, 215/45/18.

Now I have three options:

(A) Keep on searching for one, but can't drive my car.

(B) Change to 225/45/18. (What's the effect?)

© Downgrade to 17". (What's the effect?)

Thanks a lot! Need suggestions from you guys..

Cheers,
D.

A. sadly, i got a friend's tyre buldging, so he change all 4, but he sold the rest to other member. I suggest can try find 2nd same tyres, then only change 1 shot if budget is constraint

B. change all 4 to 225/45/18, depending on the tyre, it may be more stickier to the road.

C. this is the same option for me, using 215/50/17. honestly, it doesnt looks tht good as compare to 18" wheels & handling nt as good as previous. i would suggest to change to 225/45/17.

at the end of the day, most impt to choose a good tyre if budget allows

Thanks but that is not service manual

service manual is will tell you step by step assemble / disassemble parts, overhaul engines, wiring diagrams, it will tell you all the details of the car, how much torque to apply to each bolts and nuts as well.

With the service manual and OBDII, you can even trouble shoot the issue and know the details before sending it to factory.

http://www.cardiagn.com/category/mazda-rep...ervice-manuals/

some info to share with all car enthusiast/engineers.

Unfortunately i still can't find the Mazda 3 2016 service manual

http://www.rakuten.com.my/shop/asiabodykit/product/0128/

user posted image

tempted to do it coz mine is also meteor grey color.

any place to recommend?
anything to look out for?
and will it void warranty or anything? coz the kit i think got dual exhaust
*
Strom bodykit can be found at Asia bodykit
IMO, the rear quad exhaust seems abit overkill
No....quad exhaust for show only, unless u change it also

on average clocking 500km per tank is not hard for m3 even your speed vary from 100km above. For my ride, i can clock easily 600km on single tank with 60% highway with speed averaging from 90-150km. tongue.gif . if 70%-80% highway 700km is not a problem too.  thumbsup.gif
[attachmentid=6121386]
mix driving and speed condition (but 70% on highway)
*
great FC, mine avg out at 8.5l/100km

QUOTE(tbcheese @ Mar 6 2016, 12:38 PM)
Km/tank is a bad way to compare mileage since different models have different tank capacity. Try calculating km/l when you pump.
*
thats L/100km

How is the acceleration for 225/45 tires? top speed any decrease? fuel consumption?
*
i guess not to the point that u can feel, but also depends on the type of tyre using.

QUOTE(wkc5657 @ Mar 10 2016, 11:34 AM)
technically/logically :

wider = more weight = more friction = slower acceleration = more fuel consumption
*
not completely true actually

weight is held at constant (sprung weights) = downward force is same = contact area same = same friction = same FC

eg: u might go from 215mm x 10mm contact area to 225mm x 9.56mm contact area (all other factors is held at constant at both situations)

it will be minuscule, unless you are really professional driver.

That's my experience too. When I hold the tag under the rear view mirror it scan twice then open the barrier. There is a small gap in the tinting film where where the mirror holder is. Holding the tag where there is no gap does not open majority of the time.

Thanks for your feedback.
*
do u have the 8" black part for your windscreen tinting, u can ask them to cut a small opening there, then u can either stick ur smarttag there or put it in that position

Hey bros, this may be super last minute and all.
But a friend of mine started a cafe in Jaya One (Petaling Jaya), and I'm keen to go support him tonight 8-830pm.

Would be cool if we can have a few guys over there tonight, just to get to know each other, share, and possibly even discuss on our next LYN Mazda 3 Owners Club meet?

Interested parties can call/text/whatsapp me 012 200 3291 and let me know if you're coming.
I heard the hashbrowns is mucho delicious from among my church members.

If you're around PJ/KL area, you should come!

I would guess Eibach suits your needs (currently using too)
H&R drop is too low, Tein is more performance type
the rest is abit uncommon here

dayum. if drop off in highway, really terrible la!
what i worry is the bodykits will cause mess airflow since they only design it for beauty purpose instead of the real use of bodykits.
soon im getting the car, is there anything i need to do except the following
1. check the car properly before signing
2. do tint
3. thought  of wrapping the top
4. window visor ( not sure )
5. i wanna * black* the front mazda3 emblem
6. get a spoiler (saw lelong selling around rm200)
7. check on the current issue on kruk kruk or ngek ngek sound
*
dropped my front diffuser on highway, improper installation.....
