For fare driver yes, for incentive driver no. Meaning Grab will not bleeding much by subsidize driver, or maybe they are in profit now.

But if in a hurry, then they will request via both apps. See whoever estimate time arrival nearer then cancel the other one.

-when you pick up the rider,does the destination going to be somewhere in that area?as in for example,pick up the rider in bangsar and does the destination will be somewhere in brickfield,tmn tun,hartamas,sg penchala, etc,its not going to be somewhere in nilai,port dickson,johor,genting highland?

-for payment,if the rider pays you thru credit card,the amount will get on friday is it?

Destination can be anyway. I once picked up a rider in Puchong whose destination was Nilai.

For non-cash payment, Uber will reimburse you on Tuesday.

Are we allowed to cancel the trip after seeing the destination?

u won't know the destination until you start the trip. And, you only start the trip when rider enter your car. Once you start the trip, you cannot cancel, you can only complete it.

how to handle if the destination is outside kl..since we cannot cancel it.

So far, with my limited 10 months driving experience (and I stopped already), I never encounter any riders request outside Uber service area, i.e. no outstation, Uber service area is max Genting Highland, Nilai/ KLIA, Rawang.

Riders ought to know what are Uber service area, Uber is not inter-state service ride. Plus, I doubt any stranger would confident enough to ride a stranger car for inter-state.

If you really so bad luck got such ride, you just stop the trip immediately. Then, write to Uber explain why, who knows they might compensate you. But, so far, tough luck for me lah, not even once, not I cancel the ride due to inter-state, it due to some cheapskate riders want to squeeze more than 4 adults into my sedan car, which clearly against the law and term of service. So, I just told the rider either they request for another Uber X, or request of Uber XL, I am not going to move with more than 4 riders in my car.

Cannot. You cannot reject any ride request due to destination. You are suppose to accept all ride you accepted, unless you got very strong valid reasons, example like above.

If you can't be so far to certain place, then, don't drive Uber at all. Uber coverage is as above, you must send riders to their intended destination so long as it within their service area. If you picky about destination, go drive Grab instead, they showed you the rider destination when request come in. Up to you to accept or not. However, this function is not available in Uber.

You can still end the trip on that same pick up spot. Then submit a report in, stating your reason for doing so.

Like I said,I dont mind where the rider destination is,is just sometime I need to be be in a certain radius.By certain radius I mean not going somewhere like in Johor,Melaka,Nilai or Genting Highland.

Hope Uber could improve their system for instance like within a month driver can cancel a trip for 5 times,number of person riding the car and maybe the rider destination aswell.
