ahboy.....the camera is to catch u skip red light, not u-turn. Unless u so bad luck got police nearby, stop u immediately. The rules is if there is no sign of u-turn, u cannot u-turn, regardless what green light pattern. This what abang polis told me when I kena tangkap last time, I argue, no cannot u-turn sign, why cannot. How true, anyway, duwan to argue, can sense he mau cari makan, give lah...

Then, u better work as promoter lor......why drive Uber? So simple meh drive to increase income, then, every uber driver will be rich jor.....

Hey guys, usually weekday morning rush will update around this time right? I know tmr PH but Tues to Fri should have and the weekday quest already available but only one tier 😴

Ya, and then after 3-6 months of driving you will start to wonder why your car condition is worse than your friend's 1-year-old car.
And the money you supposingly make from Uber is juz enough to cover your wear and tear parts.

No more morning rush quest since last week.

i think 1 day could net more than 300km

and does GrabCar earn better?

in my calculation , we just get half of what customer pay - exclude toll

= Customer pay RM100 , we earn RM50 << and to earn that rm50 i think need around 2hour

Why today no surge?? i mean the normal type surge , quite boring for few days d , no surge

Completed 4 quests , one daily since Thursday. But pay statement only shows the quest bring credited on Sunday ? Sth wrong here ? Thanks

It is normal. Weekend public holidays part timer come out to drive.
And lesser passenger request to go out.
So supply > demand = no surge.

On normal working days, everyone requests to go to work to go meeting to go meet client etc. Demand > supply = surge.

quite weird today no jam lols , i thought everyone going back should be jam

Today earned rm185( after comission ) 12pm go PJ - 1pm started to 12.30am with 1hour rest i think

and my petrol used more than rm40 ( which i refuel )



Rm185 - 20%(expenses = rm37) = RM148

So i thought i earn RM148 with 20% of maintenance

but it was not

fuel already more than rm37 , not include maintenance yet

So i think 30% were more reasonable

which = grab 50% of total fare / uber 55% of total fare

and i earn RM185 - 30% = RM130

I drive from 1pm to 12.30pm - 1hour rest = 10hour and just get rm130 = rm13 per hour
( not included wrong maintenance calculation )


What i doing wrong there / or my calculation wrong??
Maybe was my drive from klang to pj?

I found that Uber were not worth to drive even with jam without surge , if jam super heavy then maybe worth , and for grabcar flexi , they got a min. rm5 trip . Uber if get short trip , rm2 - 5 .

And you cant plan your trip - grabcar if flexi can choose

What to do if on short trip area??? ( university area , drinking area , since at night everyone just go nearby drink and eat not going anywhere far )

Need to try one day wake up 5am go drive lols

I beg to different your opinion on drivers who are mere an agent or another word a modern day slave. Please remember, drivers should be treated as an asset cause without them Uber/Grab wont exist or survive.

If they decide they can close Uber/Grab at any time . They have the power and not the passengers or the owners.

The drivers appreciate they were given the opportunity to make a living.

My 2 cents too.

Your calculation is not wrong, rm16-17 gross per hour.
Had you stayed in Klang, you'd probably gross less than rm15 per hour.

Now you know why some quit Uber, and drive only when the surge is high enough.
You will learn more when you drive more.
Experience it yourself, don't just listen to ppl.

45 of 185 were from uber , grab were 140

And I need to nett rm200 per day for those drive to be worth ( which my friend told me can )

If just under rm200nett It would Better to go work because we got the risk and get same or lesser than working and I would say this work has no future value after 2month you would know every places and nothing was new to you after that

If calculate 60pecent were what we earn , I would need rm300 of fare per day <<< how to achieve

Finally someone who talks some sense. And have a sense of appreciation and grasp of reality.

Uber is more suitable for newbie imo. Better rider quality and less pick up issue.

Set aside the earning matter first. Get the experience and familiar with navigation and others. Just my 0.01 cent

After driving for uber only for three months, it makes me feel stupid when i see this.





Why should i drive for uber if grab is paying me 2x for the same trip?

And Uber removed the morning rush quest and reduced the weekday and weekend quest incentive by more than half. I feel stupid for driving for uber.
