QUOTE(881118 @ Apr 28 2021, 12:37 AM) C1 .Soon . More expensive than what 85% of people are expecting . One of the guys here think it will launch at RM3000 , how I envy his optimism . QUOTE(calkh @ Apr 27 2021, 01:33 PM) Nope I don't sell TVs . If you are planning on buying QN90A , do note that our QN90A is not the same model as reviewed by Rtings . Our QN90A is of IPS panel , which means it is more in line with the QN85A 's performance in the US . As for the G1 series , I don't have any news on that atm . All I can tell you now is they are not coming anytime soon . Perhaps they are struggling to produce enough " EVO - PANEL " for the MY market . I wonder why so many are interested in the tiny 48" model, is it for use as desktop monitor? I feel even 55" is too small to be practical as a TV.

QUOTE(Convael @ Apr 28 2021, 09:32 AM) C1 . How do you tell or know that the QN90A we get is the ADS panel. I actually had a look at the 85 inch QN85A on display at IPC HN. That model is ADS however specifically at the 85inch it is supposedly a VA panelSoon . More expensive than what 85% of people are expecting . QUOTE(Convael @ Apr 26 2021, 01:10 PM) Probably around 15k , if you are planning to buy at launch . Went to 2 electronic stores today (one big chain one neighbourhood). Seems like Sony and LG OLED running out fast... all use chip shortage, freight, etc as excuse. So store operators not optimistic this year June to July older version batch (CX and A8H) price will drop due to shortage. If you drive a hard bargain you can lower it to 12k ish , perhaps . I try not to talk about pricing on TVs too much because I actually know how much profit these retailers make from each unit . Places like SH , HN makes a crap lotsa money for each high end unit they have sold because they are the brand's favorite customers . Even more so for those overpriced QLEDs . Like PC and furniture, renovations etc, amazing how during Pandemic things are running out and price increases. Oh aircon too... If price doesn't drop much, makes sense to go latest version. |

I was in similar situation last year, should I get the C9 or CX. In my area, was expecting CX around April - June but never got any stock available and only came in Nov. So I would not be surprised if the C1 came in Nov 2021 also, in my area. |

Wow.....many thanks for the info - that saved me a big bunch of disappointment. You’re right though, we traditionally followed UK market - which is why I follow HDTVTest on YouTube. But that could mean that both the top range TV model from LG and Samsung isn’t going to launch in Malaysia this year....pretty damn sad. Kinda sucks that the best is probably the C1 |
