Any news on when LG will be launching the C1 Oled TVs?

Hopefully and fingers crossed they will bring the 48 inch in this time. Perfect to be used as my PC monitor...

C1 .

Soon .

More expensive than what 85% of people are expecting . One of the guys here think it will launch at RM3000 , how I envy his optimism .
Nope I don't sell TVs.

Could it be between rm7k to RM8k range?

Been loving my oled past few weeks. Just sharing my setup currently for anyone who is thinking bout using the lg oled competitive gaming.

Lg 55bx at the back for movies, ps5 and relaxing game.

Acer xb271hu 27inch 165hz Ips for Web browsing and competitive fps gaming.

The acer in the front that I can swivel out of place when I want to use the oled. Sorta best of both worlds setup that worked better than I thought!

Intially wanted to use the oled for everything but it just was too damn big for fps games. And it doesn't quite hold up when compared to pure high refresh gaming display for competitive fps.

Be warned though with this setup. On the Ips screen. The black looks like grey now. 😂

HI Bro. That's a nice set up. Can I know the name of the monitor arm that youre using right now?

Currently using an Asus rog monitor 27 inch and very keen to adopt your current set up once the lg c1 arrives

The arm is a North bayou f160. Can get from lazada. Its a double arm that I removed one of them. You can get the single arm variant and it will work just fine.

Here is a photo of the setup when Ips monitor is moved out of the way. Doesn't block the oled at all. 👌Enjoy!

From the look on the pic, it looks like North Bayou model

I'm using one of this type on my 27" Samsung Odyssey G7
But the head connection there kinda cannot afford the weight of my 27" which lead to i cannot tilt upward my monitor more than 45 degrees.

Check your monitor weight and do some research before purchase the ARM. biggrin.gif

Will do. Thank you!

Seems we won't be getting the C1 anytime soon. Considering the incoming lock down

Hi guys, anyone here using LG oled as pc monitor? It is able to display 4:4:4 chroma subsampling? Hows the experience so far?

Thinking of getting an oled as my monitor.
*
Hi. Im using this as a pc monitor. So long ure using HDMI 2.1 yes youll be able to use 444 or even RGB

Experience wise, it depends on your usage. Playing games/watching movies is pure bliss.

HOWEVER, if youre mainly editing excel/word spreadsheets then i sincerely feel OLED is a bit too big as compared to a conventional PC monitor

If you can wait, LG might be launching a 42 inch OLED next year. NOW thats perfect for a monitor

How's it for PC? Is the icons and stuff look "pixelated" if used as a monitor? I'd reckon scaling of at least 200% (on Windows)?

After being pampered by higher pixel density, I'm sitting on the fence on this but seriously giving it a consideration as a display for work/gaming/entertainment.
*
To my naked eyes no. But I'm 95cm from the screen so it might help

150% is the recommended scaling. To me is good enough
