Hi. I’m looking at the 77 inch. Either the LG C1 or the Sony A80J, whichever is cheaper. Any idea which one will be? Historically the A9G has always been cheaper than the C9/CX in 77inch

C1 .

Soon .

More expensive than what 85% of people are expecting . One of the guys here think it will launch at RM3000 , how I envy his optimism .
Nope I don't sell TVs .
If you are planning on buying QN90A , do note that our QN90A is not the same model as reviewed by Rtings .
Our QN90A is of IPS panel , which means it is more in line with the QN85A 's performance in the US .
As for the G1 series , I don't have any news on that atm . All I can tell you now is they are not coming anytime soon .
Perhaps they are struggling to produce enough " EVO - PANEL " for the MY market .

How do you tell or know that the QN90A we get is the ADS panel. I actually had a look at the 85 inch QN85A on display at IPC HN. That model is ADS however specifically at the 85inch it is supposedly a VA panel

They don't make ADS / IPS panels at 80 " ++ .
Therefore ,  most of the large sizes TV you get are using VA .
This is an LG thread so it is hardly appropriate for me to say anything regarding Samsung TV here .
