QUOTE(SSJBen @ Apr 21 2021, 12:28 PM) There are many great movies, you just need to widen your horizon a bit. I'm not even talking about modern day movies btw. Try watching the golden age movies from the 80s and 90s, the ones that are remastered. I have like 65 >30gb movies.. so many movies so little time .. so far one of the few I enjoyed was the aqua man scenes and also the 1917 (pitch black scene, and also the flares, oh my)

I'm starting to re-encode them to a more manageable file size without losing any perceivable drop in image quality. Modern day movies, unfortunately it's a dime in a dozen which ones are good. 1917 was a good movie though I agree.

I will only watch a movie once and can't make myself watch a 2nd time and reason why there aren't a lot of great movies to watch for me. They don't make movies like Forrest Gump often.

They don't make movies like Forrest Gump often. There are over 1000 titles here, majority of them are great - https://www.criterion.com/shop/browse/list?sort=spine_numberI don't believe you've watched even half of them, correct me if I've assumed wrongly.

QUOTE(touristking @ Apr 21 2021, 10:01 AM) The problem for me is, there aren't that many great movies. And it can get boring watching pristine quality video of birds and landscapes etc. They are plenty, check blu-ray.com to get more titles. Currently under maintenance, check once it is up.

QUOTE(bem69 @ Apr 22 2021, 08:45 PM) Any idea what sort of price range the 48 will be in? It will not stray too far away from the 55 " . These 48" are selling like a hotcake because they make a great monitor, therefore it will only be available in very limited quantity . I expect it to land @ around $8000 MSRP at launch . I could be wrong , surprise us LG MY . This post has been edited by Convael: Apr 22 2021, 09:07 PM

C1 - 48 " , 55 " , 65 " , 77 " C1 48 here I cum 😍 I remember hearing about LG producing more 48 inci for this year. Previously 48" was cut alongside 77" so supply was more limited. What is the comment? Bx is good enough but then ppl will recommend cx. But then, i think u better invest in surge protector. Lightning very frequent at klang valley if u are living in there.

Initial impressions going from C7 to CX, it is dimmer. I guess its new tech to reduce burn-in.

C7 had higher peak brightness overall, but CX has less aggressive ABL and if the background is static (like pure white or mostly white, like snow) then the CX is actually brighter as it can sustain full field brightness longer than the C7.
