I found the workaround.
Managed to install MiTV APK.
Just use Mibox3 (International) trick.
Press power button on remote.
Then Install will back to green.

what file manager r u using?

that method does not work with es fm or asus fm.

but works with xplore.

also, power off remote does not immediately let it install.

power off turns tv off, then power on again, go back inside, the greyed out area is gone, can install.

I use xplore app.

ue630x users... hope u r using the androidtv to the max.

with the workaround (last few posts) to sideload all apps on android 6.0.1, can get all the good stuff.

note that the tv has 5ghz capability which is great for wifi.

just to share, i am using these apps, all working good, and for a long time now:

Very seldom you can choose any TV based on paper.

I remember the optical audio arc worked for netflix but does not work for most apps, incl youtube.

Now, it works for all apps... youtube, astrogo... even unifitv hdmi input... nice.

Crap aac2.0 audio from tv speakers can now be turned into prologic2 cinema, acceptable!

Makes watching a movie on fox or tvnhd on unifitv much better.

Not sure but it must be due to the recent android6 firmware.

Should work same for hdmi arc, i wud think.

Kodi auto missing.

They only just enabling such.. Weird.. One would think that a TV of this grade/level would get audio passthrough right.. be it thru toslink or hdmi..
