Dear sifus, need you inputs here...
My statement balance is RM1,443.79
I paid RM1,433.79 before due date.
That's RM10 short to full payment. Error on my part.
To my horror, got interest charged of RM16.89 Failed to get waiver from the bank.

According to the bank, the interest is charged based on the statement amount, RM1,443.79 and from the date of the first transaction of that statement cycle.

Is that true? Anyone with similar experience?

did you swipe any thing after you have made your payment. as far as i'm concern, they will charge you interest for RM10 as outstanding amount plus all new transactions will be subject to interest immediately as well.

Hi

All cards usually will have insurance protection coverage for spending. Is there any card that provide this facility for free?? I know maybank and public are charging 0.65 for every rm100 balance. What about others??

It looks to me Bank Rakyat is offering for free. I am not sure if I mis read it.

If they are giving for free... why not right? Meaning few selected monthly transactions can be transferred to those cards.... so customers can be protected, such as insurance monthly payment

Not for CIMB.
PBB VS can refer to PBB VS/Quantum thread, I think still nothing for Quantum yet as it's a new card. Supposedly should work the same like VS.

hello all, i need help.

i'm using mbb cc and i've cleared all my payments except rm40 from my statement balance. i searched back from previous comments stating that to avoid interest i need to pay off my statement balance. now my problem is i cant pay cause there is no 'pay' button in my account details and i've tried clicking 'pay to card' but it just goes back to my account details without any pay button.

what can i do now?
