I just noticed it is giving free 2 years AF + RM 50 gift voucher if apply before 31st Jan, I think I can apply one as well.

Edit: I just submitted mine through its online banking since I already have an existing account. Easy peasy. Too bad I don't have 100k p.a. yet, so cannot apply for its Plat to enjoy PPL. I applied for ICBC UnionPay Dual Currency Credit Card Gold Card.

Let's see if my application will be approved. My first Union Pay credit card.

Your nightmare will begin when you have their Internet banking, truly a painful experience.

Maybank already shows chargeable of RM 0.53. Not sure about other banks. According to the announcement was until 31st Dec only.

Good for you as my main bank is still Maybank, all my favourite accounts were saved there.

intrepidity85, just checked online for my ICBC credit card status. Already got rejected.
Then asked me to contact the nearest branch or CS, so lazy, forget about it. Luckily I already have their Union Pay debit card. So, still OK.

Edit: Didn't want to give up, called their main branch and luckily found a good credit card officer. She helped me to check and apparently there is something wrong with their online system.

She just asked me to fill in and will arrange someone in ICBC branch to collect the documents from me this Friday since I told her I can go on Friday.

You can't pay a loan with another credit. As simple as this.
So far only PTPTN loan allows credit cards, I guess it wants youngsters to go bankrupt much earlier.

If you use HLB Essential, can get RM 400 cash back. Not sure if it falls under HLB Essential's exclusion.
If use Watami, can get RM 150.

Then, BT 0% and pay by installment 6 months or 12 months.

Public Bank rejected my application for Islamic Plat and as usual no reason will be given. I asked if can appeal, he said no, the decision is final. I asked when can re-apply again, he said after 1 year.

No thanks. I hate PBB now.

I was supposed to walk in tomorrow but got lazy and called the credit card officer just now that I will send via Poslaju since I will be going to Poslaju later.

Coincidentally, I have a company's document to deliver to Menara Citibank for our corporate credit cards and ICBC is just at the same area, my dispatch will help me to send my application form there by hand.

Actually for the sake of PPL access only since RHB will remove this privilege soon (supposedly removed on 15th Dec but deferred to 1st March 2016).

My dispatch helped me to send over by hand to ICBC on Friday's lunch hour and within an hour, an officer called me already telling me I must collect my card from their branch, is that OK. Also asked me to send them bank statement to prove that my latest three months salary tally with the statement.

I screenshot and sent to him via email already. Very helpful guy.

He said within 2 weeks will know, he will inform me accordingly. He gave me his mobile no.

I wanted to post to office but he said if I can collect from their branch, I said OK since not too far from me. KL Sentral-KLCC.
I only gave 3 months payslip and NRIC earlier, since only these were requested then he called to ask me for bank statements to prove the salary crediting only.

I thought yours just reached a few days ago?
Anyway, I want to get the free two years AF only and the RM 50 voucher.

Oh yours is Kuching branch. No wonder you cannot collect la, you are based in Miri.
Anyway, let's see and I didn't put much hope though.

Buy from online sites like Qoo10 or 11Street, not sure if they are still selling but you can check.

Yes, online based if I'm not mistaken.
Just one time la. You don't pay them for the remaining times, they won't reload for you as well.
