Ways to get Ikhwan MasterCard:
I) Apply like normal applications
II) If method I fails, then ask to split limit from your existing conventional credit limit to Islamic credit limit.
III) If method II still fails, convert your existing Maybank card to Ikhwan.

Yes, email is acceptable for CL split request. I got mine via email too.
This is the email address: mbbcardservices@maybank.com.my

That Petronas card to someone to confirm its base on transaction date or posted date. If posted date it is very very dangerous or dirty trick for not giving 8% rebates.

For my Ikwan Master, based on my recent CB, it seems to be based on posting date. As one of my transaction was transacted at last day of the month and no CB was given at that month. Was planning to call upr, but would like to confirm with other forum members have they occur such cases before?

CB always based on transaction date..
posting date determine which month get the CB..
in your case, i believe the posting date is next month, that why you didn't get the CB yet..
it will be on next month CB allocation

good card for those without any allegiance to petrol brand or been using petronas all along biggrin.gif

i recently changed from petronas (cuz near my house) to petron (miles points and RM1 voucher per RM45 pump); also tried Caltex for KRR B1F1 per RM50 pump.

shall wait for a month or two before getting this petronas ikhwan. no rush for me.

For the past 2 years i only go for Petron bcoz of the miles point and now purposely switch to petronas due to the extra 1.5% from this card.

and finger cross that the posting date really refers to the transaction date if not then its so weird that they put the "Sat&Sun cash back".

luckily both my transaction at Petronas on 5th Nov get posted on the same day.

i'll see how the posting date for the next 3 saturday.

Pump on last Sat & Sun.
Posting date was a day later.
So, my Sun transaction was posted on Mon.
Hopefully, they use the same CB practise as Ikhwan Master.
