Guys. Wanna check with you all.. Anyone kena like this before.

1. Press brake and all the light inside dashboard and gear position indicator lights up ?
2. After few minutes the engine check light comes out.

Kinda confused now.. Sent to workshop earlier the guy said its the brake limit switch. But then I'm worried abt the engine check light.

Pls advise.

The noise appear right away when start moving, not loud, but the hurmpp sound can be heard, then dissapeared after a few days (not long)

perhaps caused by incorrect installation? send back to the workshop to check?

full flush ? need almost 6 litre.

if Mitsubishi Diaqueen SP 3 need to buy 2 tin of 4 litre so around RM 160.RM80 each.

if buy 1 litre pack Proton ATF-SP111 or Petronas ATF-XP3 around RM 30 per bottle.labor should be around RM30.

RM120+RM30 =RM 150... should be around that figure.

And please don't use Dexron type.

According to the service booklet, every 20k have to change ATF. So what is fluid flush? Have to do it every 20k mileage also?

meaning u drain out all the current ATF and replace it with new oil.

Ya I think I'm gonna do that. Not cheap. Have to do regular service too.

hi all, any recommended aircond shop near pj/subang/puchong area?
my aircond not cold enough on afternoon. air coming out is cool but not cold so will feel hot inside. on morning or evening it was good and cold. this has been around for a year edi, maybe just minor gas or compressor oil reduction (not heavy leaking)? normal for a 4 years car to have minor reduction right?

got add refrigerant/gas before? or 6 years never add?

No need repair.. Everything goes smooth and just fine.. Want to let go at RM20k..

just now afternoon cannot stand the hot and went aircond shop, so it's expansion valve not functioning well. replaced it together with new compressor oil and gas, aircond seems good now...

How much is the compressor oil and gas? My air-cond is not as cold as I'd like it to be, and also the engagement is kinda rough at times.

not remembering the items breakdown in detail, vacuum and refill compressor oil ~ RM35, R134A = rm60, labour i forgot how much... then some gst and credit card tax...
my compressor also sound rough before and after the service, but i juz ignore it. the rough sound obvious during traffic jam..

Proton Persona SV 1.6 2015 / 2016

Hi everyone, I am looking to buy my first new car and my budget is just RM55K. I am looking for a low maintenance car to travel to work, something that I can afford to pay monthly also. I have been browsing for cars and currently Proton Persona SV 1.6 seems most reasonable for my budget, plus I am looking for a sedan.

My worries, is Persona SV 1.6 a reliable car? Sometimes I see a very good review and sometimes I see a bad review and also very bad reviews about Persona in general. Some shared about their problems with Person within only a few months of purchase, there is also a complain on fuel consumption.

I do not want to get the Persona SV 1.6 and suffer financially. Then it would truly be pointless leaving me to feel cheated.


Please advise and if you have any other cars to recommend within the budget of RM55k please do so. Thank you very much for your time.
