If you notice those regular forumners who are bullish of Setia Alam since exit from the township already keep silent inside the thread...
This will happen to thread with V10, V17 version where the vested will keep talk up the township until the time they exit... And most not even plan to stay there.
As readers who buy for own use you need to understand what is your needs and wants. If you work in PJ or KL... you need to be prepare for the long commuting hour in order to exchange for "quality township and lifestyle" living.

Some already buy and they dun have choice or alternative. They just suck it up and travel the 1-2hr one trip and curse the traffic. Eventually they will use to it. Malaysians love cars very much and wouldn't mind trapped in the jam to enjoy their car.

QUOTE(kokwah18 @ Mar 30 2016, 10:29 AM) Job opportunity is lesser here. I saw some people comment about Top Gloves and Setia offices. I am just wondering he is smart or too smart. How much is d property here and how many % of employees from company above can afford property here. Some people thinks without thinking, may be hardcore sales. Wondering how u know the % of employees from Top GLove or Setia can or cannot afford the property there? think and without thinking??? talk and without thinking?? LOL

QUOTE(kelchai @ Mar 29 2016, 03:09 PM) I am confused.. 1. Yes a bit far from KL, but near to PJ 2. Since when Setia Alam oversupply? 3. Less Job opportunity? How about SP Setia HQ, EcoWorld HQ, Top Glove HQ, u name it.. all in Setia Alam. 4. Since when Setia Alam developed township? there are still like 40% of land to be developed, and Setia City is yet to come. Majority of top glove workers cannot afford to buy sa properties. SP setia hq is mostly vacant, been there last year. Cyberjaya has much denser workforce but its still feels like a ghosttown. Overpriced and oversupply of properties, i was once viewing a zornia cluster and founded most of them are rented out or vacant. I think the property agents are holding to units to keep the price up.

setia has no public transport at all so everyone goes around on cars. i never have trouble finding parking at the commercial zones at all times. that's how empty.

Everyone know in Malaysia, even u live in Cheras its also takes u about hour to reach KL and the distance is only 15 KM. i personally live in SA, distance to KL is about 35KM, I can go to twin tower at night without any heavy traffic, its about 20 minutes. this is because in between it got highway, it is very smooth to drive. dun make any false statement if u r not SA resident like you know a lot. Top Glove is manufacturing company and it seems the boss has been buying office as investment asset such as in Mines, Jalan Tun Razak and Setia Alam.
Being manufacturing company.... most of the staffs are lowly paid workers and those middle and higher management are just few...

LOL Most high paid staff are from banking, investment, oil n gas, legal, medicine, accounting or even IT, consultant or outsourcing companies. If you cant attract those biz fields to setup biz there, forget about it. Majority wont have $$$ to pay downpayment or even serving a million loan..

You missed out one point.. if these places...you have alternate mode of transport ie KTM... LRT and future MRT.... you can use these to travel during peak hour. In Setia Alam. there is none. Peak or non peak... Car is your best friend.

First 15 KM, its quite smooth untill the exchange of Subang Airport, taks u about 10 minutes. if u talk about after 9.00 AM traffic, from Subang to Menera TM is about 30 minutes , then from there to KLCC, is about 20 minutes, but there is till lots of car in road , but at least can move if your driving skill is good, not jam there 20 minutes cannt move like tat. So from SA to KLCC, takes u about 50 Minutes- 1 Hour. I usually starts work at 10 am till 7-8 PM everyday. Sometimes i will go ack to my office for trainning in weekend, its only takes me 30 minutes in day time from SA to KLCC, 20 minuts in Midnight from KLCC to SA. Car is your best friend. yes this I am partially agreed to as well... of course... how many person are really utilizing the public transport in Klang valley... I guess we all cant give a definitive answer to it... if the utilization rate was high but still Klang valley are jam everywhere... its either bad planning or ppls still resort to driving irregardless of the traffic condition... like what you said... enjoy their car....
