QUOTE(christina1 @ Nov 3 2015, 08:54 AM) Friend told me he regret changing from VIP 10 to Unifi 30 because the speed is not stable at all.... Seriously. Really regret to upgrade? How not stable the line? I just took the telemarketing offer ytd from vip10 to 30mbps package. But here i read most of the upgraded forumer quite happy with the speed. |

Just speaking my mind here.
TM wants to phase out VIP5/10/20 and is now offering customers extra packages to change to Unifi 30. Months later, there will be some die-hard VIP customers who have not changed. What will TM do as they want to phase out the VIP packages? Extra incentives, I bet! Ha. So hang on with your VIP! Ha. Above is only my view. I am not liable for your action directly or indirectly resulting from following my view above. Ha. |

QUOTE(plumberly @ Nov 3 2015, 07:41 AM) Already 2 years now. They might call you again in next couple of months with better offer. They called some months ago for an upgrade but I declined. Then I did not need the high speed. Now I do due to streaming. Telemarketing called me last week and I asked for the free calls. She said NO! So, UNifi is my enemy no 1 now. Ha. Going for streamyx 8 Mbps now. Should be sufficient for my use here. Have been on 1 and 2 Mbps for the past 13 yrs. This will be a blessing in disguise, saving me RM50/month! Ha. |

QUOTE(sai2 @ Nov 2 2015, 09:05 PM) I'm existing old unifi vip10 customer. If they are going to reduce the price for old plan few months later, then maybe i wouldn't upgrade to new unifi advance since i'm pretty satisfy with the speed now, especially upload speed. MyRepublic do have the plan but according to them the process would take time, I won't be expecting them to be in business before 2018, I think it's safe to apply, use this until contract end and MyRepublic is just coming in.Is there any new plan from maxis or new competitor like MyRepublic coming soon ? Should i upgrade now or wait longer to see what happen .... |

QUOTE(ericlawyh @ Nov 2 2015, 05:13 PM) Can try to consider Asus RT-AC1200HP. i also use ac55uhp... i don't encounter problem so far....Retail: RM399, if buy from Lazada can get additional 15% or more discount + RM50 Jusco Voucher (Depend on Seller) Total cost: Less than RM300 for an AC grade router with 300 Mbps (2.4 GHz - N) + 867 Mbps (5 GHz - AC) ~ 1200 Mbps total connectivity bandwidth. signal downstairs is also good (router upstairs)... full 30mbps using speedtest... upstairs & downstairs... both using 2.4g and 5g connection.... |

Hello all. Just wanna ask something. Before this, I subscribe unifi10mbps rm210.95 per month. Last week I got a call from TM asking whether want to upgrade to 30mb, and I agreed. This morning, when I open occ, yes, it has been upgraded. What I dont undestand is, the bill just become RM195.46. Refer attachment.
Is this normal? One more, i read a lot of you guys in here paying only around RM179 per month for 30mb. Why am I paying more for the same thing? |
