Has anyone encountered UniFi Dect Phone issue?

The modem will hang when turn on the dial tone of the cordless phone. When turn off the dial tone, the modem will resume and reconnect.

Can try to consider Asus RT-AC1200HP.

Retail: RM399, if buy from Lazada can get additional 15% or more discount + RM50 Jusco Voucher (Depend on Seller)

Total cost: Less than RM300 for an AC grade router with 300 Mbps (2.4 GHz - N) + 867 Mbps (5 GHz - AC) ~ 1200 Mbps total connectivity bandwidth.

I've been using UniFi since 2011, and this issue surfaces recently, especially during night time.

Once I turn on the dial tone, it will beep once and off. Then the modem will hang and internet connection will disconnect. I have to manually reboot the modem and router.

Have logged two cases on this incident via OCC. Let's see how TM would resolve this.

Oh... Do you need to fork out own money to buy a new set and pay for RM50 onsite support fee?

The TM tech has called me today, he suspects the power adaptor issue. Anyway, he will come to my house tomorrow and have a look on it.

Hmmm... It depends I think...

During my previous onsite support on Wifi issue, TM sent me a RM 0 bill via email.

Hopefully tomorrow's onsite support on dect phone will be RM 0 bill as well.

Wow, that's a good deal.

So, you got 10 hours free calls instead of 20 hours, then having another RM10 discount. rclxms.gif

I'm still stick with the current VIP 10 although have received the upgrade call offer back in 30th October 2015. whistling.gif

From what I was told previously by the TM telemarketer, they offered 20 hours free call to all lines.

After the 20 free hours are finished, then only the call to TM home line will remain free.

You can log case via OCC and insist for on site troubleshooting.

Usually the TM tech will bring a new set of BTU when arriving your home.

For my case, the root cause was adapter faulty, but they still replace the whole BTU set for me FOC anyway... rclxms.gif
