the current unifi advance is being throttling i think way more than vips
*
On Biz plan, all fine and smooth here. I know it's stupid to pay extra, but I think RM90 extra to avoid all the unnecessary bs throttling every night is IMO worth it considering there is no better choice.

Yes they did it less with the VIP plans previously, but with the increased bandwidth now they have to put the FUP in place. It's definitely a little too drastic judging from all the complaints indeed.

Higher upload speed?

By the way, can we change name of the person attached with the account?

Was thinking of changing to my brother's name at current house.
*
Yes you can change the name of the person attached with the account by transferring the name icon_rolleyes.gif

MyRepublic do have the plan but according to them the process would take time, I won't be expecting them to be in business before 2018, I think it's safe to apply, use this until contract end and MyRepublic is just coming in.
*
or they might offer RM500 rebate to customers from Unifi/Maxis with existing contract like Time/Maxis is doing biggrin.gif (highly likely)

I just check again my occ. It return back to normal amount, which is Rm210.95. Weird. and i think, i didnt upgrade my hypptv, only normal one that came with the installation.
What is prorate? Any chance i can get any discount, seeing that some people paying only 179 for 30mbps?

just changed my Maxis Fiber to Unifi 30 MBps this morning. I dont know why, but it suddenly not working well.

1. I've tried to connect to Cisco VPN to connect to my office network. However after logged in, when i tried to open Outlook and MS Lync, it keeps dropping like sign in sign out again. Email took very long time to download.

2. I tried to download some apps in my Ipad, it is very very slow.. compared when i used 10mbps maxis fiber to download. i can feel the difference!

3. Already restart the modem and router, same thing happening

4. Tried to run speedtest.net, well, not reaching 30mb, but around 25mb download.

I feel very iritated and regret with this decision to change to Unifi now...too bad even not complete 1 day using it!

Try and capture different IPs and test it. I managed to capture this 175. IP range. Very satisfied with the speed now.

Streaming no more buffering. Unifi 30 here.

Hmmm.. I'm on SmartyDNS though.

The HD icon becoms solid after about 10-15 seconds of buffering or so. Pretty much the same for Netflix and Hulu+ as well.

They don't "select by random" lol. They have a list, a very long list to go through.

The TM tele agents has zero reason not to call those who hasn't upgraded. Their pay is largely commission based on top of their bare minimum wage. Got money don't want to take? What kinda telemarketer is that dumb?

Cannot wait then go TMpoint straight and do on the spot. Simple.

I'm loyal customer with UniFi for 3 years++ but not a single call from telemarketer makes me wonder if the list is really random or not.
