Call of Duty 2 was my baby, literally i would take hours on end to finish the campaign as many times possible in a single day!!

PES creator "Seabass" accidentally confirmed that Microsoft sent them a prototype controller to make it more intuitive for PES. He said feedbacks include telling Microsoft to make a digital D-pad instead of the current analogue D-pad. Of course, PES is not the only company to have received a controller. A European company has also received a prototype motion sensor controller. Motion sensor coming to XBOX 360? Only time can tell...

DMC on the XBOX?
This is one of the longest running rumour that Devil May Cry will see the light of day on the 360 platform. However, in a recent company report, hints that it might actually be true surfaced when it was mentioned that to increase profitability, titles will be going multiplatform. Of course, Capcom denied the rumours and say DMC is only announced for the PS3.

Halo The Movie Cancelled?
Universal has apparently pulled itself out from financing the film after Microsoft and Bungie refused to lower their profit sharing from the project. Development however is still going on and Peter Jackson came on New Zealand TV to say that studios should take the movie up. Microsoft has already begun the search for a new partner.

Hm~? Devil May Cry on Xbox wah.. Hardly capcom will port over this game to the xbox 360 ...

since thier series are from Playstation all the time~..

yeah, me too! almost bought an overpriced 360 in singapore back in January but when they didn't have DOA4 in stock, I passed. 2 weeks later I bought my jap unit in Penang

other 360 games i like would be GOW, COD2, and NFS series.

i guess the first game that got me interested in even looking at the 360 was Oblivion.
ya i knw it was also available on the PC but ive got a crappy pc....so i was kinda stuck in the dilemma of either upgrading my PC or buying a next-gen console....along the way came Mass Effect, being a Bioware/Rpg fan, that got me even more interested.......throw in DOAX2 and i was instantaneosly sold...lol

I noticed that after purchasing xbox360, my electricity bills increased about RM100 for that particular month. Y'all oso facing this dilemma?

errr mine also. my mom told me suddenly electricty bill shoot up to about 240 from 150....so i am guessing its the xbox360 too. tats y nowadays if i go out or not playing i off it

mine from 270 to 370 nowadays dont even put it on standby, just simply power off at the power socket

and i always on my aircond

my bill increased too, but not sure by how much
plus mine is Jap version got stepdown transformer, use even more electricity!

I would have to say it's really not a good idea to put the console on standby if you are using a stepdown cause the power usage is different from just plugging it into the wall.

Try checking what watt is the xb360 using. Then we can know if xb360 is a refrigerator or a microwave

Xbox 360 is using 160 watts while PS3 is using 380 watts.

I highly doubt that is true seeing that an Xbox360 ran noisier and most likely hotter than the PS3. Those power ratings must be off. Rated power and power consumption are two different thing altogether, for example a PC's 500W psu doesn't mean u are actually using 500W power at all times.

I notice something on the PS3. The fan will run faster if it's getting hotter, so most probably PS3 makan power even more

Hey all, since quite a few of you have multiple systems that has component output, I wonder if anybody has seen/have an A/V selector that has component connections?

My TV has no more free component inputs after my x360, dvd player .. soon to come wii....

well most of em have lcd tv with component/vga input. so xbox connects to component and pc connects to vga. for multiple composite, u can search anywhere

my tv has two component inputs and one rgb... I've seen component input selectors while I was in the US... I hope we get em here soon

why not remove the one thats gonna use the component input least ? so next time if u want to use it just plug it back in...

my tv is against the wall hehe and its damn mafan to have to reach behind and pull out and plug in and pull out..

also I don't think that there is a item that i would use least hehe

buy another TV loh... j/k². have u tried those composite+audio switcher to switch component, i dont know whether it'll work but if u hv 1 u can try. use all 3 for component, if it works, just get another switcher for audio. hmmm sounds like a stupid idea but whatever.

That may be true, but for comparison's sake, on a US Xbox 360 console, the power brick is rated as 5.0A and 120V (600W?) while for PS3 its 3.2A and 120V (384W?). Even so, that doesn't mean that the PS3 consumes less wattage than the Xbox360, but it also shows that the PS3 don't necessarily use twice as much power than the 360. The most realistic figure is around 170-205W.

AV Watch did a test using the electric usage meter, n here's what they got.

AV Watch's figures :
150-170 W -- starting up
160-170 W -- navigating in XMB
170-180 W -- Playing BD movie disc
~180 W -- Playing AVHCD
180-199? W -- Playing games (e.g. RFOM, Genji, apparently never crossing 200 W)

Question to you guys, how do you juggle the many neat games that are out for x360 now?

like you guys i have the recent hot titles like GoW, CoD3, SC:DA,VP,R6 etc ..
i don't know which one to play first
plus i realized i haven't even really touched graw since i played it last time.. tossed it aside for oblivion

and i am still playing oblivion.. playing from sccratch again and playing the add ons..

so ... do you guys have a schedule of what games to play or do you guys "play finish the best first" ?

I think everyone practically finished GoW. Then it was on to R6.

Alot of them had time to finish SC:DA and MUA before GoW. And alot of us didn't get COD3 (i think). Viva Pinata is a no-ending game...so that would jst be there forever and ever..and ever...and ever..

Personally i have no idea how i am going to finish everything except that I know i need to stop buying soon. So I make my solemn vow that Blue Dragon will be the last game for this year!

I skipped GoW singleplayer and went straight to COD3, finished that just in time for R6V to arrive.

There is never too old. My dad is 52 yrs old and he still plays GRAW and SCDA...and recently he keeps playing Halo 2

i get fed up when i cant solve certain 'puzzle', exspecially in GOW... lol

and, i also quite fed up when i try to play the BF game, cant aim properly.. kns...

even playing DOA4... the opponent seems to be so damn fast... lol


on a side note, i read that we can connect USB keyboard for typing, can we use USB mouse for aiming purposes in game?
