i think this only applies to US. the e71 dash-bricking happen to a few unmodded machines. e71 was fixed free of charge (some have to pay shipping). other errors can be fixed at USD140 if it was out of warranty. and rmb, no warranty sticker = makan sendiri

http://bob.com.sg/forum/showpost.php?p=333637&postcount=1 ^ more goodies coming soon for kastam inspection erm, my small packets of games are still wrapped in bubblewrap even after an official kastam inspection. they most probably just take & look-see, i doubt they consciously mishandle the contents of packages. kastam doing a good job (for me at least) |

QUOTE(Critical @ Dec 26 2006, 08:26 PM) There's a rumour says Microsoft will officially launch 360 in China next year, they will announce the news in December 28, why M$ don't launch the 360 in M'sia first leh? Because M'sia and China oso have serious piracy problem. Maybe the market in China is larger than our country, btw, their ori games price might cheaper than other country, 100~160RMB, around 76 ringgits. muahaha. chinese economy FTW! hm, maybe they can sell ori game discs for 20 yuan, but to unlock full game, must buy using MS points via xboxlive |

LoL at the investigative news. what will they do after this expose?
maybe they make those downloadable keys as 10~25MB files, then no one will suspect they are hiding old content in their disc. hot coffee GTA4 sold with MS1000 points & credit card adult verification!! i dont have bulltewitch but check out those downloadable new costumes at Sg marketplace. hint: file size pretty large. actually is they sell ori discs for USD20~25 (with locked content) and make up the revenue via secure MS points activation on xboxlive, this is a better deal for gamers & game publishers to cut off the middleman profit margins. "pay to play" rather than "buy to play"
too bad, the majority of worldwide gamers is not fully wired on cheap broadband yet QUOTE(judge-the @ Dec 28 2006, 01:43 PM) bro zio, i think box parcels abit more delay than airbubble packets during the holiday shipping season. hopefully u get ur parcel soon you use free shipping? when was your item shipped out from PA? my order still not here yet lah... my 2c,
if u already have a decent HDTV. hd-dvd add-on offers good value for money. the hardware itself is subsidised, its catalog/library wont suddenly plummet to zero even if some studios go multi-format. the way i look at it, if u even watch & enjoy 20~30 movies in the next 2 years, the cost is well justified. no need to worry too much abt the future. note: my 1st dvd player costed more than the hd-dvd add-on This post has been edited by acougan: Dec 29 2006, 03:02 PM |

hm.... "additional songs & DLC". luckily atari seems to be more reasonable than ea so far
maybe they have localized DLC tunes for specific regions - europe, asia, etc. |
