yeah..i kinda hate the banks phone banking now.
you use to be able to select the option to talk to CS in the main menu. now you have to keep selecting before you can talk to them. shakehead.gif

I have called to waive my annual fees on my Premier Miles.
Customer service suggests me to "downgrade" to Citi "Choice Card" as no annual fees.
Also mention, their colleague will call me to double confirm the conversion in 3 working days.

3 working days have passed, no one call.
When I checked online this morning, my Premier Miles being canceled, and converted to Citi Choice card.

The message is clear, don't ever ask for or challenge for fee waiver. You will be penalized or downgraded.

It is stated very clear in the CTB Product Disclosure that "Use your new credit card at least 3 times within 60 days to enjoy a 1-year annual fee waiver, with the exception of Citi Prestige Card"

If you are based in KL, just go to Mid Valley one floor underneath GSC and apply on the spot. You will need to fill up a form and your IC for your EPF statement.

Absolutely not the same.

Read properly:

Depending on the cooling off period, you might need to wait 3 to 6 months then reapply back.

Hey guys, last couple weeks I received an unknown call from AIA to sell insurance. I thought is from Citibank at first cause the operator keep saying Citibank. Once I confirm and hang-up call just notice is an unknown phone call. Been calling AIA side and Citibank but no way I can cancel the things as no transaction happened yet. Any advise? Btw how could they get our details.

In my opinion, no card is worst, it depends on your requirement if it satisfies your needs, then it's better for you otherwise it's not good for you. Citi Diamond Preferred Card, 0% Intro APR on Balance Transfers and Purchases for 21 months with no annual fee. Citi Thank-you Premier Card, Bonus Thank-you Points, No Foreign Transaction Fees, Annual fee after the first year, No Intro APR and many more cards are there which offers you numerous rewards and the facility I also have a citi diamond preferred card and it's beneficial for me.

Sometimes it happens... just wait 6 months reapply. You will never know what is the reason behind application is rejected
