so folks, which Bank now offer same level as Citi Prestige? HSBC has any?

UOB Zenith will be charging RM1,000 membership fees too and benefits seems lower than Citibank. Looking for alternative .

looking at CIMB travel world elite. the perks and features seem comparable.

amex the platinum - it's Amex... so...

none else come closer... uob's network is visa, not mastercard. i do think MC's getting the edge ahead these days compared to visa.

on another note - the RM1,000 for this Zenith card seems unwaivable just like the Prestige. pretty sad for those holders whom joined the bandwagon since 2013...

Dear valued customer,

Following the acquisition of Citibank’s consumer banking business by United Overseas Bank (UOB) last November, we are delighted to inform you that your Citibank accounts and products will be migrating to UOB on July 16. Accordingly, your Citi Cash Back card ending with 1234 will be converted to a UOB ONE card.

Rest assured that you can continue to use your Citi Cash Back card after the migration and enjoy all the card benefits, rewards and privileges that the UOB ONE card offers you, until your new credit card is sent to you. This communication aims to prepare you for what to expect ahead of the account migration.

just received an email

1 Citi PremierMile is worth 6 UNIRM

Currently is 1500 PM = 1000 Airmiles
After migration, 1500 PM X 6 = 9000 UNIRM = 1000 Airmiles (which is equivalent value)

user posted image

After 16-Jul, RM1 spend locally = 1 UNIRM...means I need to spend RM9000 to only get 1000 Airmiles..need to spend another RM4500..(currently is RM4500 to get 1000 airmiles) blink.gif

But still not sure UOB PRVI Miles Elite is under 9000 UNIRM or 11,500 UNIRM category?
*
UOB PRVI Miles Elite should be infinite tier card, the conversion rate should b 9000 UNIRM to 1000 KF.

For UOB VI, conversion to miles on birthday month get 2000 KF.

If PRVI Miles Elite point conversion follows UOB VI, then best card for oversea spending! Local spend still RM4500 to get 1000 KF (redemption on bday month)

Icic I saw that ewallet was on exclusion list on another uob card tnc. So it's card specific. Guess will have to test it when its converted to UOB. Thanks for the info.

Actually if u use for local spend later..It quite useless, 9k or 11500 to get 1k miles

Can't really confirm yet..
This is the reply I got from UOB CS

We are pleased to inform you that 1000 Krisflyer Miles requires 11,500 UNIRM PRVI Miles credit card points for redemption.

Better convert before the migration.

For the birthday month 2000 KF, only limited to 3 units. Therefore Max 6k KF miles, likely useless i guess.

I had an auto debit insurance transaction on 25th June. Saw it as "pending" in the app.

However today when I see, the transaction is no longer on the app. The transaction shows as completed on the insurance portal.

What's going on?

It means that existing citibank website username no longer can be used after July? Must create uob online user?
