2 or 3 years back when I was holding Clear, I call them to waive annual fees but they say cannot waive. So I ask them to submit my cancelation and card was canceled without anyone calling to retain. This time round I called in to cancel my PM since I am not travelling anyway, and they called back offering SST and AF rebate. So ok la, hold for another year laugh.gif

I think they offer premier miles annual fee waiver program for 2020 and 2021, mainly due to covid-19 I guess.

I got RM250. In month May and June I was using TnG, change to Shopeepay in July, not sure if Shopeepay is not recognized by Citi. Anyone got cashback using shopeepay before?

Guys, need your help on deciding Citibank credit card. basically Cashback vs Reward.

im applying new credit card. Previously im using Maybank credit card. But last month got incident that someone used my credit card for fb ads.

So now im switching to Ctibank. Last time i didnt bother about cashback or reward. Now im trying to be little bit smart by pretending to care about the benefit. Lol.

Assuming my annual income is around RM140k. Im using credit card mostly for groceries, utility bill, Netflix, top up ewallet (bigpay, setel, tng, shopee, etc)

So which is the best Citibank credit card should I choose? Cashback cc also got 2 types, normal Cashback and platinum one. Should I choose normal over the platinum? The reward only got one if im not mistaken.

Note: Should I open new thread for this?

If you are looking for a cashback card, I think Affin duo cashback card is the best. Each month can get RM80 cashback if you spend over RM3.1k.

Wow, I think only shopeepay is the fastest. However, shopeepay is not consistent at all. Sometimes no need OTP, sometimes need. Not sure why.

Just receive a call from CitiBank for some cash advance offer and she mentioned that Citi will transit to UOB on 16th July. By that time, the credit card will also change and the benefit and all. I was asking her how about my existing miles, and she said better to redeem now, later redemption rate all change. I asked whether will I get notification in advance and she said just notification, but not in advance. Hesitating should I redeem all my miles now. Anyone have any ideas?

Anyone going to redeem their miles? Saw this article from RinggitPlus and I am hesitating to whether redeem or wait. Because citi miles never expired and once convert, it will expired in 3 years. Still not enough miles to redeem yet. XD

I am using Citi PM card. Just saw this article from RinggitPlus

https://ringgitplus.com/en/blog/credit-card...lite-world.html

The redemption rate is damn bad for UNIRM.

Previously, eg I spent 12k on my Citi card, I can get 4k premier miles.
Redemption rate is 1500 premier miles to 1000 KrisFlyer.
So I can get 2666 Krisflyer miles.

Now, with UOB PRVI Miles Elite, spent 12k get 12k UNIRM.
Redemption rate is 9000 UNIRM to 1000 KrisFlyer.
So I can get only 1333 Krisflyer miles. Lost exactly half the value.

Guess gone are the day. Find other better card now.

hi, how you know the redemption rate is 9k UNIRM to 1000 KF Miles ya? UOB PRVI Miles Elite is not mentioned in the list yet..
Based on https://ringgitplus.com/en/blog/credit-card...lite-world.html

The UOB PRVI Miles Elite is likely the replacement for the Citi PremierMiles Card. Instead of introducing a new rewards points system (the Citi PremierMiles earns PremierMiles points instead of the usual Citi Rewards Points), the PRVI Miles Elite will earn UNIRM just like the other UOB rewards cards.

Maybe the conversion rate from PremierMiles to UNIRM is could be similar for the time being. But I guess they will terminate this Citi PM card soon and get it replaced with UOB PRVI Miles Elite. For this new card, it is earning UNIRM just like the other UOB rewards cards. Therefore, the new conversion rate will be half the value which means it is not worth at all to continue using the UOB PRVI Miles Elite.

so, mean we better redeem the point before 1/7?

After 16-Jul, RM1 spend locally = 1 UNIRM...means I need to spend RM9000 to only get 1000 Airmiles..need to spend another RM4500..(currently is RM4500 to get 1000 airmiles) blink.gif

But still not sure UOB PRVI Miles Elite is under 9000 UNIRM or 11,500 UNIRM category?
*
That's what I mentioned earlier. For the new card, spent the same amount but got half the value. So it is better to find a new card for miles.

UOB PRVI Miles Elite should be infinite tier card, the conversion rate should b 9000 UNIRM to 1000 KF.

For UOB VI, conversion to miles on birthday month get 2000 KF.

If PRVI Miles Elite point conversion follows UOB VI, then best card for oversea spending! Local spend still RM4500 to get 1000 KF (redemption on bday month)

For the birthday month 2000 KF, only limited to 3 units. Therefore Max 6k KF miles, likely useless i guess.

Yes but in this case it's just for credit card and that too just looking at estatement.

Plus I do not recall Citibank sending me any warning or reminder via email or SMS
*
Have you resolve this? I also wanted to get my statement but encounter this error. Not sure if those Citi digital self-service branch that opens 24 hours can resolve this issue.

I called and they say they will send the statement to everyone in 5 to 2 weeks automatically. And I cannot use this card for any online transaction because cannot receive OTP.

Just now when I called UOB, after migration my address information was incorrect, suddenly a new unknown address tagged under my account!

This is horrible!

You all better check as well
