I don't know la
once I hear its streamxy then I lost interest already, currently using 1mbps, like turtle speed. I got ask in tm point previously, they said yes unifi is available in my area, however the price is rm210++ for vip 10..i am like shakehead.gif  how come no promotion?
*
TM Point only sells based on actual RRP.

I applied VIP5 though I knew I will get VIP10 eventually. I somehow know it so well, I will be offered to upgrade. I was right though, I was offered to be upgraded to VIP 10 at RM 179.

Then now using 30Mbps also called to offer me. smile.gif

You can try VIP5 first. laugh.gif

Try this, use speedtest on phone if you're getting 30mb then its your router most likely the IP Address your router assign to your computer.

Easy fix, disconnect from WiFi and reconnect again.

I faced this problem just now for 2 hours, wondering why all my smartphone can get full speed except for my desktop. Reconnecting to the router solve it instantly.

Rebooted countless times. I'm on wireless. Already set the suitable channel to avoid interference. I used to get full 30 down and 30 up. Now I get a fixed 5down 5up.Did they revert me back to vip5? LOL

TCP/IP has in minimum about 3% overhead. IPv6 adds a little more.
5Mbps x 97% = 4.85Mbps
10Mbps x 97% = 9.7Mbps

I just got switched from 5Mbps (4.6-4.7) to 10Mbps (9.5-9.6). Not sure how the speed capping works, nor how does Ookla calculate speed, from what I read unless the ISP factors all protocol overheads by over-capping about 3-5%. Useful 'speed' and data will always be somewhere between 95-97% in optimal situations. This is just how the internet works.

If speedtest takes into account overhead data and already adds it in, we are slightly below advertised speed.
If it takes into account and removes overhead data from calculation, then we are actually getting advertised speed.
Only way to get full speed for 'useful' data is an over-cap.

No issue tho, connection is rock solid, thumbs up to TM for that rclxms.gif

Any sifu with better knowledge please do correct me if i'm wrong. My info is from the internet and the internet lies to me sometimes doh.gif

30MB user from SS24 Taman Megah here. Just switch from 5 mbs a month ago

When the speed reaches full potential 25-28 MBps it is pretty damn sweet spot to download, youtube, torrent etc..

But during peak hour, the speed is unstable and it is as if I am experiencing 5MBps speed back again. Even youtube And this is despite speedtest is saying that I am having 25-28MBps. :S Any idea what should I do in such circumstances?

Hi guys, proudly to join unifi communities (I'm officially the first one in KB 😊)
On 30Mbps package, the dload speed is stable at 28.5Mbps. I guess it'll never reach 30, am I right?

Latency around 12ms, play 4K videos from YouTube flawlessly.

This are my Speedtest results. Always more than 30Mbps on Speedtest.

If DDL using IDM, I can get around 4.3MBps-4.5MBps which is around 34-35Mbps.
