QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Aug 21 2015, 12:28 PM) reading the article i notice this i wonder though, is this source from tmnut themselves ? or is it just public gossip. did anyone here attend can verify on this, and what their conclusion on the matter was, and whether this will be something down the line anytime soon ? Yes it's true. QUOTE Such issues include the ability to obtain UniFi without HyppTV which is not being ignored by the company but at the moment, TM is still standing firm behind its triple play strategy as it believes that HyppTV is a strong pay TV alternative to Astro and there is only a nominal fee to it as compared to what users need to pay if they choose to bundle Astro IPTV with Maxis Broadband. http://www.lowyat.net/2015/71733/tm-teases...re-coming-soon/

QUOTE(nyunyu @ Aug 23 2015, 06:45 PM) Who here ex-20Mbps users using 50Mbps? Would you recommend? Same here too. Would want to wonder to go with 50Mbps or 100Mbps Maxis offer? Upload is quite important.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Aug 26 2015, 12:35 AM) Is location important for UniFi? Is it if the users density is high, then the speed will be slow? I thought that only applies for wireless broadband and shouldn't be happening to fixed broadband? Fortunately for me, my 30Mbps is smooth all the way, regardless what time I use, no YouTube buffering for Full HD. My house has two UniFi accounts, my housemate has hers while I have mine. I think high rise has higher contention ratio. Therefore speed will be likely to get affected compared to landed properties.

So I left my contact details on Maxis registration page for 100Mbps package. They called me today only to let me know that my area cannot support 100Mbps because is TM area. Only Maxis area support 100Mbps. TM area max 30Mbps.
