QUOTE(raynman @ Aug 3 2015, 11:02 AM) I am currently on VIP5. My son hosts a Minecraft server with 200+ users active simultaneously at peak times. My ping averages about 4ms. Nobody complained of lag. So, a 5Mbps upload bandwidth is quite sufficient for online gaming, according to my experience. Doubt that, unless the users are from Malaysia. Lag may varies which may has something to do with your hardware. 5mbps is not enough, if anyone decides to ddos your network, you are utterly done.

QUOTE(raynman @ Aug 3 2015, 06:47 PM) You are entitled to your opinion which contradicts my actual experience. Have you setup and operate a gaming server 24/7? If you are DDOSed, even a 100Mbps bandwidth is "utterly done". Yes, not with my with home pc. A VPS insteas and yes, a mc server and also a few others.

QUOTE(poi2005 @ Aug 16 2015, 11:14 AM) Same here (not 30mb package), obviously is UNIFI issue, cos when I use VPN, download speed via APP store is at full speed. When VPN is off, back to 10% of the speed. have you guys tried to use Google DNS? Does it affects anything?

I was unable to locate the Unifi white box or the ground tower which act as a connection of the fibre optics to be pulled into the house, maybe they did a good job concealing it?

QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 11 2015, 03:52 PM) TM Point only sells based on actual RRP. I applied VIP5 though I knew I will get VIP10 eventually. I somehow know it so well, I will be offered to upgrade. I was right though, I was offered to be upgraded to VIP 10 at RM 179. Then now using 30Mbps also called to offer me. You can try VIP5 first. 179 for 30mbps?

QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 13 2015, 02:14 AM) UniFi routing issue, you are not alone. Many of us are facing it regardless which package you are using. I'm still having the issue... Have you guys tried reporting the issue to http://www.complaint.cfm.org.my/ ?

QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 13 2015, 03:28 PM) Not yet. Changed my old router to be an access point. You should try, it takes them less than a day to reply you.
