I know its lifetime, I still need buy better one just for backup.. sometime TM delay which not convenience for me.

QUOTE(raynman @ Aug 6 2015, 10:12 AM)
The BTU is under lifetime warranty from TM.

Call 100 and arrange for a TM technician to replace the faulty unit.

Tested, same issue.

QUOTE(blacktubi @ Aug 6 2015, 10:56 AM)
Try another power adapter. Most of the time the faulty part is the power adapter.

U need to run www.speedtest.net, give us feedback.

QUOTE(LordSparda @ Aug 6 2015, 11:57 AM)
Just got my update to 30 mbps yesterday. It's a bit slow though; I'm getting around 2.7 - 2.8 mb/s downloads at max. Is that normal? I was expecting greater than 3.0 mb/s.

Also, my default unifi router is borked; looks like wireless is dead on it. After the package upgrade I can connect to the wifi, but can't get any data at all.

I can't change the router since they never give me the login/password for my account (said not allowed to give woh...), so I'm thinking of buying a wireless access point. Do they sell those around here? What brand is good?

OMG!!! Just called TM Technician and they said our BTU is bind with MAC Address! Thus other BTU will NOT WORK!

No wonder no company make BTU! So not convenience!

even Hyyptv TV-Box also bind with MAC Address with Username! OMG!!!

No issue.

QUOTE(poi2005 @ Aug 13 2015, 04:30 PM)
Anyone experience slow speed when downloading things from Apple server, like iTunes, App store? The speed I am getting is damm slow, even downloading the latest iOS 8.4, showing me 20+ hours, like not moving at all.

If i use Maxis LTE, the speed is normal for downloading from Apple server.

I do noticed this happens when I got the IP start wit 175.xxx.xxx.xxx, very slow IP address, dont know why.

Yes, unifi or streamyx got a lot IP range, just choose the one u feel stable smile.gif

for me is 110.x.x.x also tongue.gif I always restart to get 110.x.x.x IP address happy.gif

QUOTE(poi2005 @ Aug 13 2015, 04:41 PM)
Not using 3rd party DNS server, that is what provided by Unifi, I did not modify DNS.
My router settings "Connect to DNS Server automatically"

Now I am running with IP 110.x.x.x, back to full speed downloading from Apple server.
I having issue whenever I am connected to 175.x.x.x IP.

Strange.
