3m is the best choice I believe. Affordable price. No backwash needed. Filter is small in size and nice in looking. Indoor one can hide easily under sink.

My advise, Look at what filter media they are providing in the filter system rather blindly believing in tested in accordance to NSF. As explained many times, a RM 400 filter small carbon block design can already pass NSF 42 and 53. So, what so great about getting NSF. 42 and 53? It only sets minimum standards, unless u have a long list of tested chemicals like Amway, then that would be convincing smile.gif

I would usually tell this to my customers

Water filter is for whole family's health, buy something that you think would be able to provide clean water and not something that is cheap and comfortable to your wallet. If one can afford a smart phone that cost RM 2-3k, i dont see why they cant afford a good drinking filter smile.gif
You see something branded, cheap, u just buy without doing any research, that is really not wise as you could end up wasting more money in changing your filter system next time

Correct me if I am wrong, I believe the water is boiled and kept at the same temperature throughout the day.

Another thing you might want to consider is cleaning the water tank. Over time it will get dirty inside and you need to clean it.

So my advice to my customers is if hot water is really a must, use a separate boiler. That way you can see inside the boiler and clean it when it is dirty.

Lastly, ask yourself, how much hot water do you need per day? Do you really need the hot and cold function?

My setup, under counter water filter add on demand hot water dispenser, water can choose 150, 230, 300ml, 25,45,70,100 degrees Celsius

IMO better than those boiler tank due to low consumption, can on and off anytime

So the question is why are you buying a water filter? For aesthetic look or for clean water?

eSpring design is also nice looking, not too fancy but elegant built.

The 3M unit is 17KG, is it feasible?

Yup correct. No need to buy this. For water that is cooked over and over again it will make the water 'hard'.

I think this brand of 3-Sec thermos flask is not bad. But no more in stock.

I am using their storage heater too which I bought 3 years ago. Very good and energy saving because it is using dc power. Out of stock model. Mine is Single tank 60 litres.

ya saw posts from forumer here that the 3-sec is actually made in china, but dun know why they claim is own brand.

and it spoiled quite easily.

but anyway, i did not get one, since i really hardly use boiled water at home.

Avoid those 3 seconds instant hot water at all cost. It wouldn't last.
That's why you don't see reputable brands manufacture it.
