Lol that was what happened to me when I'm working in KL as well. Received a call to go for interview while I was working for over a year.

But your information astonished me. 50 resumes only managed to get one reply??!! OMGoodness. I received 3 or 4 new jobs notification from jobstreet and jobsdb every one or two days, that means 50/3 =>16 days excluding the jobs that doesn't match my requirements. I even try to give a shot on those jobs which stated "Singaporean or PR only". swt

ya bro admit that i had send off 20 job applications only 1 agency call me up for sending my resume to the co. for shortlisted till now no news at all doh.gif
I even get send to those jobs which stated "Singaporean or PR only" but not indicating "straightly" u never knows maybe they cant get any s'poreans to work with rolleyes.gif

Gosh ...is hard to get a job there ...jobs that u want.. doh.gif

It's SGD$20/day. and the toll is SGD$1.20 if u use causeway. 2ndLink i dunno cos never been to that part of town. If sharing of course cheaper then take bas. To go and return from office might cos u almost SGD$6-7 dollars/day. Dun mention the time leh. Of course we have to take parking charges into consideration. Parking can get monthly pass cheaper of course. by any mean it still beat queing up for the bus and inhaling all the diesel exfume from stupid buses.. lolz.. my 2cent

There are many bukit in SG, do not associcate Bukit as what it is in malay. It used to be bukit in SG, but no longer as many areas are just retaining its name but the bukit already disappeared. Just a name now. Bukit Merah is in prime land, which means EXP area right in the heart of city centre area.

yeah....btu some contract work got bonus if the company u r working for is generous enuf. many do not know this until they signed the deal. LOtsa benefits also tak ada like CPF/BonUs/etc...so u gotto actually CALCULATE your annual package and include that in your asking salary if u wanna work for these agencies. Because if the end u r losing out alot if u dun and realised too late that u are not earning much more in singapore.
Terence, for your case, i think its not worth it la.....they paying u how much and wats your current annual package in Msia?
