QUOTE(albirri @ Feb 18 2008, 01:56 AM) I'm thinking of riding bike to SG but last time looking at the tambak, they are queuing like hell... ok. the bike story. this is my true story.before i bike to singapore, i used to travel from JB to Science Park everyday. I drove my car to tambak johor. leave it near a parking there. took bus 170 to kranji MRT. Than MRT to buona vista. buona vista take bus to science park. bike story. ok. frankly speaking, i have never rode a bike using the first link. second link, yes. in first link, there are like thousands of bike and only 3 counters open at one time. i should say stupid system on singaporean side. i ride my bike to second link, from my house around 45 minutes. its like 30km away. the second link is less less less crowded there. only 50 bikes or so, and they have like 15 counters open. and my office is like 10 mins from the AYE. so fun oh ya the toll. u have to pay rm1.60 in malaysian toll. then sgd0.70 per entry. He grad from local Uni & had few years experience in Chemistry stuff. Couldnt secure a place asking for a mere S$1.5k. A coursemate of mine (graduated), went to Singapore. got a job starting at S$1.2k. Now after 2 years she's getting S$1.5k + 3 years bond for a PR application). Her english not good. QUOTE(terencetoo @ Feb 24 2008, 10:31 PM) wow 2 yrs experience + 3 yrs bond... Singapore has their own salary market compare malaysia, you can't just assume what you get in msia will be same in singapore.emm not too good i think Where i have no idea how is the wages pay there but i though there are some rules and guidance where the law of employee deserved some standard pay Where I have 2 yrs exp but some chinaman co. offer me 2.5k only sigh minus logging left abit only... well~ never know ~ but s'poreans love to have contract stuff i wonder y? Some fields is higher salary than msia and some is lower. 2 yrs exp offer 2.5k? For me I think reasonable. If you think you worth more than it, just continue look for job until you get a pay that u think reasonable. PS: if you getting job through agency, you can check with them how much is your market value in singapore with the experience you have. |

well take it from a "sinkingporean" take the money and leave, forgot all the shit about PR etc...there are many "sinkingporeans" here who are sick and tire of being screwed by the government...given a choice we would prefer to leave this hell hole...
those slimes are so eager for new shitizens they are resorting to importing pariah prc...who brings along with them their "spittoons" culture and mannerisms... cost to cost, a lower salary can get you further in malaysia then sinkingpore...here we are screwed everyday by all sort of nonsensical taxes placed only to filled the government coffers... S$2.5k ya they just put it to shortlisted but no news so i assume is gone. U know y they offer me S$2.5k this is due to the job applicaitons stated current salary in "S$" sign if converting from RINGGIT to Sing is very small.... so tat's y... Regarding the Job agency where how much u worth in the market iz possible to ask them? i dont thik they will entertaint such a question? will they? @tpk1031 haha OL yes indeed OL is darn pretty there compare to M'sia. Maybe i can say...too materialistic i assumed. U never know they wearing Armani Exchange skirt/ Gucci dress/ Lv handbag/ CK Bra/ n SK II makeup can u eloborate y u say S'pore OL got look only because they speaks Mandrin?
