bro agree with u.. working sg if purely due to money,,, i think is for short term..u have to shift back to malaysia to enjoy your return due to currency diff... if you keep in sg.. i think staying in malaysia might be better compare to sg...as malaysia houses doesn't really cost you million ringgiit... comparing to SG... which cost million SG??( not sure never aware of singapore properties price, my instict tell me it cost more  tongue.gif )

HDB flats start at S$150,000 for a basic 2 bedroom flat. I think home ownership amongst young adults is much higher in Sg compared to Mys.

IF you're coming by EP, sometimes you might not need medical checkup smile.gif

Medical checkup must be done at SG Clinics.

What happens is you'll be given a temporary pass (it's a letter actually) stating you have to complete certain things like submitting your visitor pass (that white card you get when you come into SG), do medical checkup (if required) and handover your passport ( to put that MOM chop).

BTW, there are a few types of permits / pass in SG. Do take note which one you're applying for.

Rent a room in SG is a killer. I only half a month now so i'm still renting at JB and travelling to work. If u working office, like i mention earlier, it's better to get a room in SG and make sure it's not more then 20 min travelling time from ur office or it's not worth the hassle and cheap price if the rental.

Hmmm... i thought u are staying in s'pore. Easier for interview. U continuing ACCA? Which part are u in now? Part 'P' was called Part 3. I was thinking maybe u are finishing ACCA. Chances of getting a job is higher.

Anyway, i used this method once. I went to acca's website to look for the Accounting Firms in the 'approved employers 'in list in s'pore, Google the firm's name to find their email add. or phone no. (Good luck there, some firms dun have websites or email add.) I called them up asking whether they have vacancies or i email my resume to them.

It didn't work out for me as i was looking for an Accounts Asst job. Those who request for an interview wanted me to do audit.
