Below is the correct website for ur reference regarding PR application in SG. ICA Application for PR
FYI, my fren got his PR in less then 6 weeks upon entering and workin in SG. I'm not so sure about the 6months and above rule. Your advice would be i need to apply the PR first then only start looking for job?

No u need not to apply for PR as you cant apply for PR if u're not sponsored by a PR or SG citizen. Jus apply for a job there and the employer will settle the rest for you =) Cheers

QUOTE(y_square2 @ Jan 22 2008, 10:44 AM) regardless whether is PR or Singaporean? ya, If you have the skill or qualification to get the job done. I doubt you can apply become PR before you have job which meet the requirements, unless you invest lots of money in Singaporean or spouse was Singaporean or PR or in any other circumstances. None of my friend was PR while they get their first job here.

QUOTE(eddychstu @ Nov 7 2006, 12:56 PM) mind those who tend to work in sg, ofcoz like others said is good pay in sg but thinking that u'll be living in sg and spend in sg for most of the time. it doesnt make any huge different. mu cousin's case: all the while he worked in sg, work hard and save hard. few years later, manage to buy a house in MALAYSIA, mind u, not sg. and now he's having this problem whereby his investment is mostly in msia, he wish to move back and work here but the pay in msia cannot support his investment. end up, work in sg but cannot enjoy the stuff that he has invested in msia, eg. house so think b4 u make any decision if u want to work in sg, money is important but not everything. especially for youngster. bro agree with u.. working sg if purely due to money,,, i think is for short term..u have to shift back to malaysia to enjoy your return due to currency diff... if you keep in sg.. i think staying in malaysia might be better compare to sg...as malaysia houses doesn't really cost you million ringgiit... comparing to SG... which cost million SG??( not sure never aware of singapore properties price, my instict tell me it cost more )
