Cost of Living is the amount of money it costs just to live in a certain place. It includes food, housing, etc.
singaporean says sg exp , jb cheap because of the currency exchange rate. like my frenz takes SGD1000 back to hometown during CNY...
by the way .... 1 question about transfer money ... let says i want to transfer RM500 everymonth for my car installment from SG, any charges for each transaction???

QUOTE(Guai Guai Zai @ Jul 28 2008, 02:20 PM) ya, u can either use their online data usage or call to their customer service to check ur total data usage. To play save, check it on weekly basis. i've wrote a program to check the usage daily and write to a log ... but i found out that their system doesnt update our usage on regular basis , some times their update at 6am , some times at 11pm ....

QUOTE(seantang @ Aug 7 2008, 08:36 PM) MBB's iSavvy and Std Chartered eSaver accounts give the highest interest rates without having to commit the funds to a fixed deposit (> 1%. Many S$ FDs give less than that). But both are primarily internet and/or phone accounts ie. you pay fees if you use the counter at a branch and no ATM card. So, you use the ibanking to transfer money to your daily account. MBB however gave me a free debit card linked to the account later on and it's also a convenient way to send money back to Malaysia if you have a Malaysian MBB account. I use POSB/DBS as my daily account as it's got the most ATMs and branches. how much does MBB charge for transfer S$ to malaysia's MBB account? MBB also got fall below charges?
