QUOTE(BenSow @ Jul 31 2015, 12:37 AM) Have to take increase food intake also right? Yes. Food intake is crucial . The frequency doesn't matter , how many meals you eat in a day DOES NOT affect weight loss/gain. It's the overall food intake you consume in a day or so. here's what u can do:I'm 177cm 63kg 19 years and looking to gain, based on what I see in my other friends I can eat quite abit(not amount but frequency) as I get hungry fast but I just don't know how to conjure up more food to eat 1) find out your TDEE 2) Use IIFYM calculator , google search , click the link and key in ur body stats If you get hungry fast ,then eat lol. Just make sure it's within ur targeted caloric intake. |

If u eat at 1620 cals per day , your weight would remain the same since that's ur TDEE , hence , to gain weight , eat above 1620 per day . Good luck |

I also interested to try the protein supplement but don't have any idea about it like how much to take, when to take it, the recommended brand.. Any advice situ? Hehe.. |

QUOTE(coklatua @ Aug 5 2015, 07:43 PM) Thanks for the reply, bro. Doesn't matter . Protein supplements isn't a necessity, nor does it speed up ur progress . It's just blended form of protein, u can get the same thing from chicken, beef , etc... So, the conclusion is I need to eat more than my tdee. I also interested to try the protein supplement but don't have any idea about it like how much to take, when to take it, the recommended brand.. Any advice situ? Hehe.. Take it any time and at any amount u wish, track your calories . |

I checked the nutrient contents for these two products :
Horley's : Dutch Lady Full Cream Milk : Seems to me that these two products provide more or less the same nutritions (protein/carbs/calorie). Then it got me wondering; why'd people opt for Horley's when Full Cream Milk provide the same nutrients, at a fraction of the price ? |

Could it be that the marketing works; that people who are looking to gain weight are buying their brand ? |

QUOTE(OMG! @ Jul 27 2015, 05:05 PM) Anyone of you try this super mass gainer protein drink before? I'm taking that about 2 weeks. But only 1 scoop per day (half servings). With proper meal, nutrition, workout, can say im gain 4.6kg (obviously not all lean muslce. lol). But the road still far.http://mys.bodybuilding.com/store/dym/supe...equestid=499969 Previously my calorie maintenance is about 1600-1700. Now in the past two week i maintain to get around 2600cal. Snack @ 5.30pm : That Dymatize Mass Gainer (1 scoop / half servings) Dinner @ 8.30pm : Rice, Eggs, Fish, Vege. Supper @ 11.30pm : Milk + Protein Shake, Banana. I workout usually at 10pm - 11pm. In my opinion the weight you're gaining are mostly fat and ur breakfast are too heavy. instead of having nasi lemak or roti canai u should eat oats or eggsPreviously my calorie maintenance is about 1600-1700.
