QUOTE(rc2x @ Jul 8 2012, 01:23 AM) Belly fat will happen when there is a calorie surplus, even if the person if working out or not. When a person who working out have a large calorie deficit, some of the calorie goes to building the muscle and some of them are turn to fat. There is a reason why some bodybuilder opted for a slow bulk method where they consume not so much calorie surplus so that fat won't build up on their body. |

QUOTE(Kenza @ Jul 9 2012, 03:38 AM) The diet only suitable for you if and only if that it can provide you a calorie surplus. Sure, you can follow his diet to a T but everyone have a different metabolism thus different calorie maintenance. Just eat healthy food as long as it is over your calorie maintenance and you'll grow. |

QUOTE(Kenza @ Jul 13 2012, 08:29 PM) Thank god that you notice it because you know that you need to do some extensive reading about it, don't you? I'll always say that I'm dumb, it makes me want to find lots of knowledge so that I wouldn't call myself dumb on a particular subject.p.s: no offence man. just saying that you need to read if you want to get to your goal. without knowledge, you will become like a blind man trying to navigate a map. |

QUOTE(winter-X @ Jul 21 2012, 07:50 PM) I know but I just want to point out that in bodybuilding, everything must be done detail and no half-asses. No half-asses during workout, no half-asses on your diet. You want to be big, then you need to be very discipline about it. Trust me. I've been there and wasting 9 months without any significant gains are demotivating. You get it? Good. Now to answer your question. You don't need to have to rely on supplements in order to grow your muscles. You don't need whey and mass gainers. They are meant to supplement. What you need is to: 1. Read a lot. Bodybuilding is a combination of art and sciences and you need a hell of information if you want to achieve your goal. Yeah, maybe it seems that I am a bit dramatic here but if you think that sit ups, crunches, reverse crunches can get you a six pack, then you are wrong. 2. Find a suitable workout for beginner and according to your goal and stick to them. Think of this as a lesson plan in school. You learn simple math before you go to advance then calculus right? Same as the workout. Start with beginner routine and follow them until you feel like you need more challenge or you have different goals. 3. Diet is one of the three important aspects in bodybuilding. If you understand about diet, then you will know that consuming mass gainers like what you want to do in the first place is a massive waste of money. Without proper diet, you will have a very minimal gain on your workout and it will affect your goal. You want to bulk (increase muscle mass)? Find a bulking diet. You want to cut? Find a cutting diet. 4. Having enough rest is important. Remember, muscles are made outside the gym. 5. Read a lot. |

QUOTE(lol~ @ Aug 2 2012, 11:51 AM) hi, just wondering, what is serious mass anyway? large amount of food or a weight gain product? i want to gain weight for myself too.i eat anything at any amount still 49kg Mass Gainers is a supplement that able to give a lot of calories per serving (the most would be 1200 kcal). But the bad thing about Mass Gainers is that it contains a lot of not so healthy ingredient with a lot of simple carbs etc2. What you need to do is that you need to eat a lot. You ate a lot? Nope. You didn't. Trust me. |

QUOTE(lol~ @ Aug 2 2012, 12:16 PM) yes.sound like not enough Thought so. That is not even half of what I've ate for my Iftar last night. And 1 ate again on 12 am and again on 5 am. What I ate is 1 1/2 plate of white rice, 2 large chicken breast (ayam masak kurma), 2 scoops of dalca, 4 large eggs with 2 slices of cheese, 1 large bowl of bubur lambuk (need more than 15 spoons to finish it). Eat like what I ate and you'll grow. Or if you found that it is hard to gain weight, eat more calorie dense food. Try google it |

QUOTE(lol~ @ Aug 3 2012, 11:06 AM) for most skinny people, splitting the meal to several small meals could help you to achieve your targeted calorie intake. For example, a 3000kcal meal could be separated into 6 meals and you just need to eat 500kcal on one seating. Surely a hardgainer can eat that right? Unless you are anorexia. |

QUOTE(steven92 @ Aug 18 2012, 05:30 PM) You don't need protein supplements to increase your weight. You just need to eat more than your calorie maintenance preferably 20% more while having a proper carb/protein/fat ratio.QUOTE(ExCrIpT @ Aug 18 2012, 06:08 PM) You don't need protein to gain weight, just increase ur daily calorie intake by a lot. You need protein to grow but protein suppelements aren't necessary. Mass gainers are a bad choice to consume as it has a lot of simple carbs that made the most calorie in itIf ur looking for supplements to gain weight it's mass gainer Added on August 18, 2012, 9:22 pm QUOTE(ibrahim_1109 @ Aug 18 2012, 08:47 PM) To gain weight is not that difficult. Most importantly is to sleep early and wake up early. young people tends to sleep at 3-4am then wake up at 11-12pm. It is not good. Change lifestyle. Sleeping maybe have a very little impact on weight gaining process. If you sleep 15 hours a day without consuming suficient food to grow, you ain't going to growThis post has been edited by alien9: Aug 18 2012, 09:22 PM |

To those who have underweight problem, here is what you can do:
1. Eat more than you calorie maintenance. Find what is the value of your calorie maintenance and consume 20% more than that and you'll increase your weight. There is no other way than this. 2. Split the calorie needed into several small meals preferably 5-6 meals. Since most underweight people have a problem of eating a lot of food, this would solve the problem. 3. Eat calorie dense food such as peanuts. A small amount of peanuts have a lot of calorie in in. |

QUOTE(xGKx Phoenix @ Aug 26 2012, 12:59 PM) If it's really that much of a struggle to eat, and you still want to make gains, this is what I recommend: How many calorie and nutrition in this recipe?Have 2 of these per day. One after your workout, one later in the day. (if you train in the evening, have one for breakfast). If you stick to it consistently, I guarantee you will make gains... 500ml Milk 2 eggs 200g Fruit Yogurt Banana (or another piece of fruit) 20g Natural Peanut Butter 1 scoop of Protein 70g of organic oats (this is per your b/weight) Stick all this shit into a blender. Turn it on. Down it. No need for that "mass gainer" garbage |
