hey guys. I'm about 169 cm, 58 kg and a small framed body. I'm quite athletic and my body is fit, but still considered as skinny at my age (21). I've been doing basic workout regularly (push-ups, dumbbell exercises and sit-ups) at home and I can notice a little bit of improvements on my body.

My goals is to build an overall bigger body, and I know that I needed supplements. Which supplements do I need (weight gain? muscle gain? mass gain?) and thanks in advance.

Apparently the source of your read might be not entirely correct, unless you are reading supplement advertisements which surely says that supplement is needed.

The most important thing is diet or also known as nutrition. Without proper diet, you'll may not grow even if you consume whatever supplements out there.

My height is 175cm,with a weight of 49-50kg(it fluctuates but will never go above 50). My BF is 8.2%
i read somewhere that i need to give a ''shock'' to my body so that my high metabolism rate will cool down a bit and i can gain a bit of weight. tried that early january for a week, (skipping 1 meal(dinner usually on certain days), changing my dinner time from the usual 7-8 to 10pm. at the end of the week, i predict that my weight would drop as a result of such erratic/weird eating pattern, but surprisingly its still almost the same

maybe i ''under-eat'' i.e. not enough calorie intake but i ensure that every meal i eat contains protein (milk,meat,tofu/egg)

i go to the gym 1-2 times every week and push-up & those ab exercises at home.some result is seen on my arm,but its not showing on the weight scale, LOL!

visited the doctor for checkup last year, even doctor had no clue what is wrong.

where is the wrong? under-eating? not enough effort in gym?
how to fix? please dont recommend me to take whey or mass gainer (its not my cup of tea, lol)

How you know ur body fat% is 8.2. Do you have 6packs?
Wat is your TDEE?
You daily intake total how much calories?

did a test using the body composition analyser
unfortunately no 6packs
TDEE is 2308
daily intake between 1300-1900
guess im really under-eating

So you get the answer already right?

Body composition analyser not always accurate. Best is judge by using mirror.

So u know your TDEE is 2308. So you just eat 500 surplus. 2800-3000 see. By 1 month. Check the mirror again.

are you rice/noodle/chicken/beef/meat intolerance? if you wan gain weight. just eat the damn meat. meal time dont matter. you can dabao economic rice and eat later. supper can have tandoori chicken breast at mamak. why not? you can increase you rice intake also if you wan gain weight.

Following ur advice, I've managed to gain 5kgs in three weeks (exactly 21days since new year hehe). I had chicken rice for lunch every week days, some slight snacks for hi-tea (if u consider karipap as snacks lol) and 1 scoop/cup of rice (which is a lot after cook) together with some chicken/meat every night.. and also two glasses of full cream milk + 1 spoon of milo before bed.

Used to be arnd the ~70kg margin, now slowly climbing back from ~50kg. Last year wasn't a good year overall in terms of getting fit. Nvrmind, this year's resolution to bulk up, or at least be in the healthy/fittest condition. flex.gif

like this how to gain weight? since you are in college hostel. chicken rice with more rice and mix economic rice and pick wisely is easy available.

do you know how to reduce cholesterol level? it is not you just eat vege and it will reduce your cholesterol level.

read this

Have been trying the Horley's Weight Gainer.

Only use it when I am going to the gym later or after gym.
Surprisingly I used to weigh like 50kg just a year ago, but suddenly weight jump up to 58kg.

With a height of 171cm, I guess going up to 60kg should be the optimum
