I'll say what I always say to clients/friends, if you're 100% determined to go after your goal, and it is of utmost importance to you, taste of a post-workout shake etc, should never be an issue. That being said, I've taken this shake before a couple years ago, it's perfectly fine and after a while you get used to it anyway. It's all about the end result, not your tastebuds.
I "prescribe" this shake to people who have issues downing 3K+ or 4K calories per day. So, if adding in 1K extra cals with just drinking something is dependant on taste, maybe gaining the weight isn't as important to the individual
Sorry if I sound like I'm rambling, basically all comes down to what you want now... and what you want/value most
