guys i facing prob with unifi...why my download speed only 1.2mbps whilst my package is 5mbps...hmm...im at pandan villa condo

Anyone noticed some packet lost on Unifi during daytime. The packet lost seems to be fine above 1am. This problem already happened for 4 days.

need to re-pull the cable from tm box as internal wiring died d....

tm technician said need to find our own contractor.... if he do rm200?

I called CS regarding the VIP10 for RM169. Anyone with expired contract can get the offer. Basically just tell them that u received a call for the offer but was busy at that time. Try call 1800881222.

I didn't went through with the upgrade coz dun want to stuck with another 2 year contract ( no warranty for router & hypptv decoder) & also waiting for more upgrade offer for VIP5. It seems TM is trying to push ppl to upgrade to VIP10. IMO its better close old account & re register new one & get all the new equipment with warranty.

1. "more upgrade offer for VIP5" what's this? haven't heard of this before... pls elaborate. afaik, there is the RM139 VIP5 offer that was offered to me after I rejected the RM179 VIP10 offer!

Since my contract expired about a year ago....been receiving a lot of offer to upgrade to VIP10 with special price. So i guess they want to tied me up to another 2 year contract.

Like u, i also rejected the VIP10 RM179 offer, but now they are offering VIP10 RM169. So from there u already know that a lot of ppl rejected the RM179 and they slowly to offer lower price. I think tm offering the RM169 secretly so not to offend those ppl that accepted the RM179 offer. So far there's no offer price for VIP5 only for upgrade from VIP5 to VIP10. So u no need to worry if there's RM139 for VIP5

For me i will accept their offer once their price is set competitively with other telcos/isp.


I suggest u wait till GST come out & only then weight up ur options. Once u sign, u stuck for 2 years bro.

true but it's 17 mths to go after Apr 1...

however, pre-GST, it's 6% SST on usage charges but none on recurring charges but, post GST, will the 6% GST be charged onto the recurring charges too? hmm.gif

suitable for me, i dont use TM router and hypptv biggrin.gif the BTU should be lifetime warranty from TM if not mistaken

hi,

I just get a promotion from VIP5 -> VIP 10 last week. so now i testing the speed and found out it is the same.

Now i try to test the speed directly via the modem (previously via the wireless) itself. Issue is, i cant connect it via the cable. i have tried LAN1 port and it is working, but my laptop show unidentified connection, hence, no connectivity at all.

then i tried LAN2->4, all port not giving me any signal at all.. as in no blinking light @ my laptop port....


LAN1 got the blinking.... others dont have.

what can i do? coz i cant even connect directly to the modem.

the Wireless modem is connecting to the LAN1... funny... why cant my laptop?

using alcatel lucent i240g

Your laptop can't straight online with connecting to the BTU (or so called Modem).
