RM169 or 179?

after i didn't accept their RM179 offer for the 3rd time, they then offered me RM139 for my VIP 5, which I accepted! I wanted the RM169 but they said it lapsed!!! but looks like it didn't lapsed!!!

according to what i read at this forum, if they call you, then maybe you'll can get the RM169 offer. if you call them, they'll offer the RM179 thingy.

maybe they've changed their strategy now. try calling them and see if they'll offer you the RM169 thingy but do keep us informed.

1. "more upgrade offer for VIP5" what's this? haven't heard of this before... pls elaborate. afaik, there is the RM139 VIP5 offer that was offered to me after I rejected the RM179 VIP10 offer!

2. "close old account & re register new one" thought of this too but i'll lose my "nice" tel number lah but I may have to re-weigh the pros & cons...

true but it's 17 mths to go after Apr 1...

however, pre-GST, it's 6% SST on usage charges but none on recurring charges but, post GST, will the 6% GST be charged onto the recurring charges too?

my friend just got his RM149 5mb package reduced to RM119 p.m. - yes less RM30!!! - when he went to cancel his unifi.

and i thot my rm149 less rm10 p.m. deal was good...

anyone got this deal too?

maybe we should start a pressure group to get the 5mb package reduced to rm119!!! anyone knows how to do this?

that was what my friend advised me - go & cancel & they'll give you a rebate - don't know if it'll be RM30... give it a try & report back to us.

if 5mb can be rm119, then
10 mb = rm149, &
20mb = rm159 (all OKU-related figures!)

then, this is fair... for the moment as rates should be cheaper still!!!

more specifics from my friend on his rm119 5MB deal...

1. it seems a 5mb unifi subscriber went to a tmnet centre and claimed that he can't afford rm149 p.m., & was quickly given a rm30 rebate!

2. his bro told my friend, and walla! my friend went to the pandan indah tmnet centre to cancel his 5mb package, & was immediately offered the rm30 monthly rebate!

so there you are - time to join forces to get the rm119 p.m. deal!!!

it seems that rm169 10mb is the new "standard" pricing now. anyone got rm119 for the 5mb package yet?

yes, it's possible - precedent has been made - just go & ask for it! then report here.

p/s - this is the move that you should make if your 2 yrs contract is over!

has your 2 yrs contract expired? if yes, you stand a good chance. if not, you'll have to think of something creative...

he's staying at ampang but everybody that day at the pandan indah branch got the rm119 5mb deal if they insisted on it!

your a/c still within the 24 mths contract? did they penalise you?
