Available ports.. there's a chance you get screwed (no ports) if they terminate current account and you sign up again.

What TM staff told me its upgrade , he didn't say need to reapply
*
Good to know

QUOTE(Neptern @ Apr 21 2015, 06:36 PM)
We shouldn't need to reapply for faster speeds, just doesn't make sense.

Somebody go upgrade to 30mbps and see how it goes? Although the lower upload speeds is a bit of a bummer and no free landline calls...
*
Of course that should be the case... but we all know TM doesn't make sense right? smile.gif

The 30Mbps package interests me... I'm on 5Mbps plan anyway so moving from 5/5 to 30/5 is a net win tongue.gif

If upload was faster I'd go for the 50mb package, but I want to keep my 20mb upstream!

I dont think PC games need huge upload.. games need quality upload.. latency to the servers more important than upload bandwidth..

TM start to follow European country that offer lower upload.. thats in term technical lorr.. not the price.. they do not want mass consumer to host a server anymore.. maybe..

For me.. i dont care about upload... my daughter and son only want to stream video.. youtube..

Upload is very important if you are hosting servers...but looking at speed than 30 and 50MB is sufficient enough now days.

when i'm streaming hearthstone or diablo 3, upload speed is very important.

even 10mbps is barely good enough, and i even have to adjust my stream video quality for an acceptable smooth stream.

though to be fair half of the problem is also due to my older spec pc which limits the encoding options i can do hmm.gif

but better upload does effect to a big extent whether you can stream in 720p or 1080p.

both bolded statements are equally correct.

1) correct, your final bill (payable) amount will be price + GST.
2) correct, no change to the subscription/voice fees (cuz GST not levied yet)

price != bill amount

Technically this is correct, but their FLYER should state that prices will INCREASE by 6% post GST. The bill gives a very misleading picture to a majority of users.

Current pricing doesnt make sense. Internally they offer different discount to customers, which is stupid and not transparent. If your contract over, they call and offer RM10 less, then if you say no, RM20, and on and finally RM30.

Of course if you are patient and waited (or if you read LYN frequently smile.gif then you can max the discount. But what does this mean for other customers who don't know?

How are they going to standardise the package now? E.g. like the new VIP10 package. So for those who are paying RM169, do you get "upgraded" to RM179 ?

Secondly, if you are existing customer with no contract, and you know TM offering RM10-30 discount to upgrade, then you cannot have the discount on your new contract if you choose not to upgrade.

TM memang boleh - pandai screw existing customers.

Definitely need more competition. Maxis is not doing enough, and TIME is stuck with high-rise. Apa boleh buat?

EDIT : Competition is wonderful - RM135 for 1GBps (that's 1000Mbps)

Come on la TM, raise your game.

check their newer flyer and website. per Customs' GST regulation, display price will be inclusive of GST.

bill display is the detailed breakdown between base price & GST.
