my advice to all.stick with ur current package first.looking at how they works.i think their UniFi 30 is half baked product.

yawn.gif

maybe in June the soonest,we can all upgrade to UniFi 30 without terminate the old one. icon_rolleyes.gif

wishful thinking IMO....looking at the 30/50 price plans now, TM also removed the free calls....so all signs point to screwing us over and over. So much for the so-called discounts.

Current pricing doesnt make sense. Internally they offer different discount to customers, which is stupid and not transparent. If your contract over, they call and offer RM10 less, then if you say no, RM20, and on and finally RM30.

Of course if you are patient and waited (or if you read LYN frequently smile.gif then you can max the discount. But what does this mean for other customers who don't know?

How are they going to standardise the package now? E.g. like the new VIP10 package. So for those who are paying RM169, do you get "upgraded" to RM179 ?

Secondly, if you are existing customer with no contract, and you know TM offering RM10-30 discount to upgrade, then you cannot have the discount on your new contract if you choose not to upgrade.

TM memang boleh - pandai screw existing customers.

Definitely need more competition. Maxis is not doing enough, and TIME is stuck with high-rise. Apa boleh buat?

EDIT : Competition is wonderful - RM135 for 1GBps (that's 1000Mbps)

Come on la TM, raise your game.

i share your sentiments 100%.

as an existing customer vip10 paying 199+gst, i feel cheated.

my apr bill, yes 199+6%.

at first i thought i can expect a reduction since the noise was made. now, i start to lower expectations to zero.

monopoly/quasi monopoly does what it does best - overcharge, free to exploit it anyway it sees fit.

The only way is to wait until your 2y contract is up, jump ship or see what they offer you (unfortunately they are the best-of-the-crap for fibre, unless you stay in a high-rise with TIME). Now for 199+6% will they auto-upgrade you to 30mbps, or if you stay then "discounted" to RM179 ?

my 2 yr contract ended >1 yr ago. agent called once to offer vip20 229 at expiry then.

no discount, vip10 199+6% remains.

no other call, no other offer since.

can't take the chance to terminate n re-apply as no guarantee u get the line back.

jump ship - yes, seriously considering. will wait to see if really ALL of them reduce prices for NEW users, existing users get zero.

damn... loyal good paying customers get f'ed all the time. banks/creditcards behave same.

i gotta learn how to be nasty and less good to them...

TM, like other GLCs suck you dry like a vampire.

I was in a similar situation, and they finally gave vip20 219. Since you are not on contract, do wait and see what happens.

Also heard Maxis giving RM98 for 5mb for certain areas, depends how fast you need. Of course if you are a true "AVFAN" then you need as much as you can get la smile.gif

at one time, i was actually ready to pay 229 for vip20. then i start to hear people paying 169, 179 for vip10. i called but got cold response. that was when i decided it simply isn't right to spend more good money on a bad provider.

It's the devil or the deep blue sea. Shitty provider but if you need decent uptime/speed (since TIME is not available, and don't start on Maxis), then what do you do?
