QUOTE(vez @ Jan 18 2015, 11:35 PM) if additional cable length is required, the contractor will charge additional cost, you may refer TM site for more info. Cable from telecom pole to BTU on UPPER-FLOOR is free? So if no need for additional cable length once inside the house, then whole installation is free? This post has been edited by MGM: Jan 19 2015, 05:27 AM |

QUOTE(vostro78 @ Jan 20 2015, 10:24 PM) oh, i still thinking, Unifi VIP5 is only rm21 more but u get to call tm fixed-lines for free.yes, been with unifi for the last 2 years, the service is consistent, i think my area nvr hv line down issue, once a while i only need restart modem for no reason. i think past 2 years less then 10 times also, cant remember. my wife using maxis 1 plan rm128, she entitle subscribe for maxis home fiber with rm20 discount rate so the home fiber 10mbps will cost rm128 monthly. currently mine is vip5, i was thinking can save more some more double up the speed. why not but i check the home fiber forum got complaint about the service down at some klang valley area.... |

QUOTE(steventan85 @ Feb 12 2015, 10:07 AM) this promotion is misleading ... the so-called free 88channel only applicable for the 1st month only...after that , only Free tv channel applicable ... Thank u for notifying, was thinking the premium channels are for the whole duration. So the additional rm10 diff from the old package is for the 7 VOD channels. |

QUOTE(treblecase @ Feb 12 2015, 10:43 AM) According to spec this has dual band 2.4GHz & 5GHz and 2 usb ports (for printer & external harddisk?) and recently offered at Lazada-TMTonline for RM215. Is it easy to setup (inc using shared printer & harddisk) ? |

Hopefully this will lead to lower Broadband packages in the very near future.

I had a dream, just now (daytime), Unifi new rates after April-fool (when GST starts) will be
VIP2-rm89(=YES FiZ), VIP5-RM119(=giko's friend), VIP10-RM169(was offered this yesterday), VIP20-RM199. Comes 1st April, minister will say Petrol naik lagi GST sudah mula, but we are lowering the Broadband rates. |

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Mar 20 2015, 01:29 PM) hmm... that is new to me. Somebody mentioned that VIP5 lowest offer was rm119. afaik, vip5 rm149 or vip10 rm199 with limited free channels is the baseline, can't be worse, available all the time. some places, some promos can get vip10 rm169 or 179 for that (but vip5 lower than 149 unheard of) . in other promo cases, 149 or 199 gets u mega pack included. mega is no longer offered, only jumbo (mega+sports packs). so i suspect: either they now offer only in those jumbo bundles or did a quick one on you. |

QUOTE(giko @ Mar 6 2015, 04:23 PM) if 5mb can be rm119, then This post indicate it is possible to get VIP5 for RM119.10 mb = rm149, & 20mb = rm159 (all OKU-related figures!) then, this is fair... for the moment as rates should be cheaper still!!! more specifics from my friend on his rm119 5MB deal... 1. it seems a 5mb unifi subscriber went to a tmnet centre and claimed that he can't afford rm149 p.m., & was quickly given a rm30 rebate! 2. his bro told my friend, and walla! my friend went to the pandan indah tmnet centre to cancel his 5mb package, & was immediately offered the rm30 monthly rebate! so there you are - time to join forces to get the rm119 p.m. deal!!! |

QUOTE(Anonymous34 @ Mar 20 2015, 04:35 PM) Tm just called me and offered me 169 for VIP 10 package with 6 months P1 Wimax subscription for free(FYI, they acquired it recently) (they said the p1 wimax subscription can be cancelled after six months. More & more exciting addon at the same price. But I still prefer lower price for basic package without addon.Take it or leave it? |

No wonder TM has been aggresively promoting upgrade for existing customers to lock them up for another 2 years contract.
