hi, any 1 cancel unifi before? wish to know any procedure? jsut walk in fill up the cancellation form will do? my 2 years contract jsut end this month. i am going to maxis home fiber later on as per current maxis promotion.

also, do i need to return all tm modem  / tvbox / wat ever? or they will come and collect  or those belongs to me already?

yes, been with unifi for the last 2 years, the service is consistent, i think my area nvr hv line down issue, once a while i only need restart modem for no reason. i think past 2 years less then 10 times also, cant remember.

my wife using maxis 1 plan rm128, she entitle subscribe for maxis home fiber with rm20 discount rate so the home fiber 10mbps will cost rm128 monthly. currently mine is vip5, i was thinking can save more some more double up the speed. why not

but i check the home fiber forum got complaint about the service down at some klang valley area....

this promotion is misleading ... the so-called free 88channel only applicable for the 1st month only...after that , only Free tv channel applicable ...

but according to radio about this news, telcos only agree to offer more affordable broadband, comes out with new plan, not to lower current package price

new plan could be slower speed for those no need high speed

my friend just got his RM149 5mb package reduced to RM119 p.m. - yes less RM30!!! - when he went to cancel his unifi.

and i thot my rm149 less rm10 p.m. deal was good...

hmm... that is new to me.

afaik, vip5 rm149 or vip10 rm199 with limited free channels is the baseline, can't be worse, available all the time. some places, some promos can get vip10 rm169 or 179 for that (but vip5 lower than 149 unheard of) . in other promo cases, 149 or 199 gets u mega pack included. mega is no longer offered, only jumbo (mega+sports packs). so i suspect: either they now offer only in those jumbo bundles or did a quick one on you.

if 5mb can be rm119, then
10 mb = rm149, &
20mb = rm159 (all OKU-related figures!)

then, this is fair... for the moment as rates should be cheaper still!!!

more specifics from my friend on his rm119 5MB deal...

1. it seems a 5mb unifi subscriber went to a tmnet centre and claimed that he can't afford rm149 p.m., & was quickly given a rm30 rebate!

2. his bro told my friend, and walla! my friend went to the pandan indah tmnet centre to cancel his 5mb package, & was immediately offered the rm30 monthly rebate!

so there you are - time to join forces to get the rm119 p.m. deal!!!

Tm just called me and offered me 169 for VIP 10 package with 6 months P1 Wimax subscription for free(FYI,  they acquired it recently) (they said the p1 wimax subscription can be cancelled after six months.

If ur unifi contract has ended, they will call u to offer a new package. Unifi called and give me promo to upgrade 10mbps rm159 or stick with 5mbps rm139. Same like streamyx i think. Rm80 4mbps.
