Upload is very important if you are hosting servers...but looking at speed than 30 and 50MB is sufficient enough now days.

so pilih maxis ma.. maxis still offer symmetric upload/download

go email singtel see whether they want to come in or not. 

it doesn't make sense if UniFi 30 and 50 only available for these 8 exchanges only.So they will introduce it sooner.

Since any UniFi FTTH can go up to 100 Mbps and 35 Mbps for VDSL using the current BTU and RG.

Current pricing doesnt make sense. Internally they offer different discount to customers, which is stupid and not transparent. If your contract over, they call and offer RM10 less, then if you say no, RM20, and on and finally RM30.

Of course if you are patient and waited (or if you read LYN frequently then you can max the discount. But what does this mean for other customers who don't know?

How are they going to standardise the package now? E.g. like the new VIP10 package. So for those who are paying RM169, do you get "upgraded" to RM179 ?

Secondly, if you are existing customer with no contract, and you know TM offering RM10-30 discount to upgrade, then you cannot have the discount on your new contract if you choose not to upgrade.

TM memang boleh - pandai screw existing customers.

Definitely need more competition. Maxis is not doing enough, and TIME is stuck with high-rise. Apa boleh buat?

EDIT : Competition is wonderful - RM135 for 1GBps (that's 1000Mbps)

I got called from TM offering VIP10 for RM179 so many time. I just flat out reject their offer. Even VIP10 @ 155 I will also reject.

I want a cheaper VIP5.

if 5mb can be rm119, then
10 mb = rm149, &
20mb = rm159 (all OKU-related figures!)

then, this is fair... for the moment as rates should be cheaper still!!!

more specifics from my friend on his rm119 5MB deal...

1. it seems a 5mb unifi subscriber went to a tmnet centre and claimed that he can't afford rm149 p.m., & was quickly given a rm30 rebate!

2. his bro told my friend, and walla! my friend went to the pandan indah tmnet centre to cancel his 5mb package, & was immediately offered the rm30 monthly rebate!

so there you are - time to join forces to get the rm119 p.m. deal!!!

has your 2 yrs contract expired? if yes, you stand a good chance. if not, you'll have to think of something creative...

long time already expired... before expired they call me offer 179 for 10mbps, after expired they offer me i think also add 20~ 30 to enjoy 10mbps + more tv channel, recently get another call is rm169 for 10mbps...

actually got plan to change to maxis home fiber also de as i can subscribe with rm128 only but of cos i still prefer unifi la cause it is less problem for me for the pass 2 years +.... almost no problem.

Do update us if they give RM30 discount.

as an existing customer vip10 paying 199+gst, i feel cheated.

my apr bill, yes 199+6%.

at first i thought i can expect a reduction since the noise was made. now, i start to lower expectations to zero.
