Anyone got the hsbc premier travel card? How is the air miles conversion compared to M2U premier?
*
1.1 points on every RM1 overseas spend in foreign currency (online, utility and insurance transactions)
1 point on every RM4 local spend in Ringgit Malaysia (online, utility and insurance transactions)

Seems ok to me. I've only converted once (for testing purposes) and now just collecting points for the moment since I don't really travel MAS. Will probably start using MAS once borders start to open up more.

Just got a call from hsbc offering me cash advance & also supplementary card that will share the existing main card limit.

I declined it politely to the Sales advisor.

Does this has to do with my habit of always paying balance statement for nearly 3 months?

I was looking forward for them to offer me limit increment from rm10k to rm15k though. 😄

Proof that if you are good paymaster the bank will target you for more promotions, but normally I will just declined. Unless it’s 0%

If you look at post 9912 above, its contradicting to your statement. are you sure?
*
Yeah, it's seems contradicting based on TnC mentioned, it's calendar month as I re-check.
But my experience tells me it's statement date for last year, however, I could be wrong if TnC might change recently.

Statement Date = 7-Sep-21

All transactions above (Aug & Sep) were earning bonus points except TNB (Utility, 1x)

All eligible for 5x, all except TNB 1x only.
Foreign currency is 8x.

- Original 1x = 3958 pts
- Additional 4x (online) = 13996 pts
- Additional 7x (foreign) = 3038 pts
Total = 20992 pts

Can use 10k air miles to redeem 10k Enrich points, but 20k for 10k Krisflyer or Asia Miles. I guess if you travel MAS this card would appeal to you more.

I believe normal cashback based on card cycle
While bonus cashback based on calendar month (spend >rm2k in one calendar month

One post says statement date(same like PBB), one says calendar month (like Ambank,SCB)

Which one is the correct cashback calculation for HSBC amanah mpower card?

To be on safe side, swipe at least once a month for consecutive 12 months
