Anyway, received call from HSBC again, they called for final verification and I was told I will receive a notification once it is approved in these few days. Let's see.

Is HSBC consider strict or lenient in approving credit card compared to other banks?

I sent in oj end of august, until today no respond, then I chase on Monday, then today morning chase agn still pending, but on evening already recieve card approve email without call verification

Btw, My salary barely hit the minimum requirement for mpower

Already have cards from 3 banks

But still been rejected by hlb PBB scb and even ambank

how long have you had the card after getting the lazada voucher?

Applied same time as yours. Passed system approval on 29th August (the day I applied) and today received another final verification call and I should know my result soon according to the guy who called me today. I didn't chase so hardcore la.

Got SMS from HSBC, telling i can increase my current limit to 22k. Just need to reply the sms the 6xxxx number and done.

Also,last week when to mid valley, got chased by hsbc pipu offering me signature 'digital lion' card.

Which card is better? My current amanah M-Power Visa Platinum or this Lion card?

Can we get annual fee waiver for Visa Signature? 12 swipes per year still apply for waiver?

Annual fee will be waived if the cardholder(s) swipe the HSBC Visa Signature Credit Card at least once a month for a consecutive 12 months period.

I have called up HSBC and being informed:
1) First year annual fee free
2) 2nd year annual fee will be charged at the anniversary of the card, ie., on year 2019, if I don't fulfill 1 swipe per month condition.

My HSBC Amanah card was approved in 13 July, now waiting for RM500 Lazada voucher.
How long you guys get your Lazada voucher and how do they send it ? Is it through email, snail mail or just SMS ?

got mine 3 weeks after statement date via email.

My concern was and still is, like their balance transfer mechanism, I am not supposed to use the card at all for retail swipe to enjoy the real 0%

Any idea if the same applies to cash loan too?

I asked and I was told it is not like BT mechanism, there won't be any additional % for normal retail swipes.

Can somebody answer ah ? Right now i just pay one instalment.....

i applied for the lazada500 deal online on 25 july
received the card middle of august
spent 1k+ on aug 28 (transaction date), posting date is aug 30
08 Sep 2017 is my statement date on my internet banking page (but if u click into the statement, date there is 10 Sep 2017) - paid it off early

called them x 2 via the number behind the card -> they told me to wait for the email

someone suggested that i fb msg them on their cardprivileges page and i did -> this is their reply : As per the T&C, you will receive your Lazada e-voucher up in 4-8 weeks from the date you spent RM1,000. Thank you

i also emailed them online on the hsbc internet banking page and got the reply as below

Please be advised that the e-Voucher will be send your registered e-mail
address after 4 to 8 weeks of meeting your spending criteria. In the
event if you did not receive the voucher within the mentioned period,
please contact us for further action.

til today, i'm still waiting for my lazada voucher

Do I have to spend rm1k in Lazada to get rm500 Lazada voucher. Or I can spend 1k anywhere to get it
